So glad to find this!!
I bought one just like this two years ago and it was no longer available. Luckily I found this one after using Google lense on the old one. I am surprised that they are priced this low.As a short person with a short and thin neck, this fan fits me just fine. The two cooling knobs rests securely on my neck. It doesn't matter that there are only two outlets blowing air, they are pointing at two good spots. If you are well endowed neck-wise, you need a neck fan with a much larger cooling plate. I tried a couple of those and the cooling plates don't have good contact with my modest neck. Also sorry for folks with longer hair. The air inlets points are generally sized and can suck in hair.

It’s not a fan and it’s not an AC but it is awesome!
So I read all the reviews and had my doubts buying this but I already had a regular plain old neck fan that worked great and a big music festival was coming up and I wanted to try out one of the fancy fans with the cooling plates to see how they work. I was fully ready to pay $40 for one but then this one flashed by as 50% off and despite the reviews I figured for $10 it was worth the risk just to see if the cooling plates help at concerts or not. And honestly it’s AMAZING! This is not good as a neck fan at all, if you are buying a neck fan you will be disappointed, I found using any of the fan speeds over the LOWEST setting was a waste of time. But using the low setting on the fan to help cool off the cooling plates and to spread that coolness to the surrounding area makes this so amazing for functioning in a sweaty crowd! If you are standing directly in the beating down sun working out you won’t notice it’s working… until it’s battery dies and suddenly your whole body temp spikes 10 degrees lol it’s not some super duper ac that keeps you cold but it will keep you from dying of a heat stroke and if you have major sensory issues it can keep you from having an overstimulated meltdown over the summer sun. Now a lot of people complained about how small it is but my friend who is easily 250+ pounds with a large neck used it after moshing for 2 hours and it had him from flushed and dying to almost normal in about 20mins despite still being outside in the heat so idk how people were having a hard time getting ut to fit? I will admit my neck is very small but it was almost too big for me by contrast and I often had to grip it tight to my neck. And while it does have a tiny whine, it’s overall noise level is quieter than any of the regular neck fans Ive used in the past. My ONLY complaint at all about this design is that it really does eat your hair! My hair is very short and I was still having issues and at one point it snagged the hair of a girl in the crowd next to me! It does warn you to tie your hair up on the device but even a bun/ponytail won’t save you cus baby hairs and flayaways are all you need (my hair is about an inch long and was getting eaten bad I’m scared my hair is uneven in the back now from getting pulled by the fans so much) for $10 this was an amazing lifesaver, if I had paid full price I think the hair issue would have been a bit more upsetting but not enough for a negative review but honestly if they can find a way to fix that design flaw this would be a great device for anyone to keep cool but even especially for anyone on the spectrum with sensory issues to help with regulating in stressor environments!

It kind of works but made for skinny necks
I really wanted to get into the gadget fad of neck air conditioners, but didn't want to drop the serious cash the "top tier" units were asking. Pragmatically, I just wanted to see if having some cold plates against your neck would really cool you down or not. So, I bought this device, and my observations are mixed at best. For starters, this can best be described as a neck fan OR a neck cold plate device. The fans work as intended, but they do not blow out cold air when the cold plates are turned on. As a matter of fact, the cold plates being turned on, will cause the fans to blow warmer than ambient air toward your neck! So, if you have relatively cool ambient air around you and just wanted to use the fans to cool you down, that would be fine. But if you wanted the cold plates against your skin, the fans really just turn into a cooling unit for the plates (because of Peltier mechanics - look it up). In other words, with cold plates turned on, you'll get warm air blowing. Cold plates turned off; ambient air temperature will blow.As for the fit that everyone complains about in other reviews, they're not wrong. But I wanted to mention that I have a very slim neck, and it fit just fine for me. But barely. My neck measures exactly 15 inches in circumference. I would imagine (at best) this device would sit comfortably on anyone who has a 16-inch neck circumference or lower. Any larger than that and I could see it being too tight to be comfortable for a long time. You kind of want a tight fit around the neck so that the plates make flush contact with your skin, but the plastic that is used for the device is a bit inflexible. It can certainly bend a bit, but not as much as other ones I've seen people own. Finally, the big question that everyone wants answered, does it cool you down? Well sort of. The cold plates being turned on and sitting flush against your neck causes "cold" spots to form on your skin. This is amplified if you also happen to have a little moisture on the area the plates are making contact with (aka sweat) as the sweat then becomes chilled itself. But the sensation is literally the same as holding a very cold can of soda / beer to your neck. It's cold and feels good, and it takes your mind off of the heat. But it's not really going to cool your entire body down. It's just enough to lower your body temperature a bit. And with a runtime of only 2.5 hours on low fan speed + cold plates and 3 hours to charge the device fully (it says all this in the manual), you are kind of in a weird spot when you need to use it.This device DOES support pass thru charging. But it only allows you to charge the device and have the fans on. The cold compress (cold plates) turns off when plugged in and charging. With my first foray into this device category, I'm going to say it was a learning experience. I think the device is reasonably priced for what it can do for you, but it's not much. And the runtime is the biggest culprit in my book of being borderline impractical. It would have been nice if pass-thru charging and cold plate usage would be possible, as that would have meant sitting at a warm office desk would not be an issue.I paid under thirty bucks for mine shipped. It's a fair price, not a bargain or a rip off. If you really want this type of thing to work for you, dish out the cash for the really expensive larger models.

This works decent, little smaller than some of the others
This works decent as a cooler, the metal plates help however being a little tighter than a few of the others I have tested and used it seems a little smaller and lighter but tighter on myself. Mixed feelings overall as it isn't a bad fan only complaint is a little smaller than I like personally but others in the family like it more than others we have tested.

Best for people with close cut or no head hair.
It works just as it should. The downside is it does pull on the sensitive hair in the back of your neck. I believe this is more suited for people with no head hair or for those with like a buzz cut. It is also quite heavy around the neck. But it does feel good when the heat and humidity are very high
