I have many bowl covers like these because I prefer these to plastic wrap. And although these say disposable, they can be used again. I've even washed them. They are thinner than the ones I use everyday in my kitchen so they don't last as long but they can be used more than once. I've used my other covers at pot lucks and had them tossed out because many people don't realize they can be used again, I don't mind as much when these are mistakenly tossed out. And they are compacted tightly into a small space so they can be stored without taking up much room until they are needed. My daughter who dies her hair said they could also be used for processing caps when she has to cover her hair and wait for the color to set. Bowls or hair - these work for both.

I usually buy a 10 pack of plastic bowl covers at dollar stores for $1.25, so 201 for $4.99 is a steal. I use them to cover my bowls when I make sourdough bread - both bulk proofing and cold proofing in bannetons. These are a tight fit on my 10" banneton, but will fit easily on my oblong or 8" banneton. They come in a bag that's not resealable, so I'll have to find something else to keep them in, but overall I'm happy with them.

I've been using these type of "shower cap" plastic wraps for quite awhile as they're absolutely helpful in putting away food without going into battle with those obnoxious plastic rolls.The individual plastic covers from Yahuaa seem to be a bit larger and wider than my previous as it spreads out wider and can slip over a large bowl or plate much easier. Like my previous, the plastic gauge is very thin so it's not suited for long term storage but ok to wrap up a plate of sandwich or keep flies away from the food.These bowl covers are great, they're a little bigger than my previous and they make after meal cleanup faster. Even my husband was tickled at how cool they are. You have to try them and then you'll know what I'm talking about.

For an item advertised as "reusable" I am very surprised at the extreme thinness of the plastic. I would call these a single use item, at best. Not for me...

If you've ever gotten frustrated using clear cling wrap that you have to cut with an implement on the box it comes in, than this is the solution for you! The items arrive in a simple, unassuming plastic bag, and they come all closed up. Once you pull one of them out, it gently pulls apart to yield what looks like a small hairnet that easily secures around the bowl. It works for smaller bowls and larger bowls. I have not yet tried it on plates, I imagine it'll work on our smaller plates, may or may not for the full size plates. I am a huge fan of the fact that I don't have to struggle with cling wrap.

These bowl covers are so much easier and more convenient to use than wrestling with plastic wrap, and they fit a wide range of shapes and sizes of containers. The plastic is thin, but it gets the job done. And it doesn't need to be thick, because the elasticized rim holds these in place without the need for cling.I like these for covering pitchers especially, but also bowls, plates, platters, pots, and pans. At the current price of two-and-a-half cents per cover, they're a great deal and more than worth it.
