Great costume for high school history "high tea!" Fit my 14yo son fine and will be something we can keep around for a couple of years before he outgrows it!

I work with a local artists group, and I wanted something "Javert" like for some of the Les Miserables numbers. This worked okay (A little cheesy close up, but translates fine from stage to audience).I am a big man. 5'10" 250# well distributedThe main part of the costume was very tight on me (size 48 chest) but was wearable (I had to be careful not to get to crazy or it could pull the plastic/polyester zipper apart). I did not use the pants, but I do believe they would have fit just fine as they appeared quite stretchable (a little thin.. might want to wear something under them). The hat was a creation of cheese, and brilliance. Up close you can see that its basically a felt facsimile of a hat. But from a distance, audience wise it looked just like the hat it was intended to be. (Its not that bad up close for that matter) Boot-covers.... I had to really force my feet through the small part of these, with fear of tearing the felt they are made out of the entire time, then getting the elastic straps typically at the bottom of boot-covers, to fit over my shoes was near impossible, long story short, 1 survived, the other did not, felt was so stiff... snapped strap not a big deal, but it is what it is.Get a sword, does not come with, but makes the outfit!For a smaller person this is a great costume, for a big person, not so much, depends on how your going to use it.

Great costume. Fit my 5’ middle schooler, sleeves a bit long but they were manageablesince he is still growing. He won the Best Overall Costume Contest at school. Note: only gave 4 stars because the felt hat wasn’t fully sewn so I had to hand sew it. It was cut wrong so it was missed during production.

Used it for a comedy sketch. Looks good. Back of the hat is plain however. Tight fit if you're a bigger guy.
