Really soft (which I was worried about). I got the light purple and love the color. I didn't know if id like the color based on the online pic but it turns out really cute in person and much lighter (not so bright/deep). I ordered with standard shipping YET they shipped the night I ordered it and it was here in two days, I was so impressed!! I definitely recommend this product. Review: WAY OVERPRICED! - I ordered this case and, at the same time ordered what appeared to be the very same case from iBenzer for $18.95. I was interested to find out if the only difference between the two cases was the price. The quick answer is a resounding "YES!" Here are the details: the ONLY physical differences between the two cases are the ventilation openings in the bottom of the case (angled slots vs vertical slots) and the color of the rubber feet (black on the more expensive case and white on the less expensive one). But wait! There's more! The less expensive case also came with a color matching, rubberized, protective keyboard that was included in the price of $18.95 and fit perfectly. So, if you want to truly compare the two cases, the cost of the keyboard ($7.95 according to the Kuzy web page) must be added to the Kuzy case cost of $24.95, which gives a total cost for the Kuzy case package of $32.90. That, my friends, is a difference of $13.95! I think the decision on which to purchase is self evident. Oh, one more thing: the bottom half of the Kuzy case did not precisely fit my MacBook Pro although the iBenzer case did! Frankly, I think that both cases were made and packaged in the same factory since every detail except as noted above was identical down to the way the cases were packaged for shipment. I have no real explanation for this huge difference in costs except that the iBenzer folks seem to have negotiated a much, much better deal all the way around that kept their costs very low and still allowed them to make a profit. However, only they know the real story, which doesn't really matter since we, the consumers, are the ones who benefit. As one can discern from other reviews, there are several design issues (viz. the rubber skid pads on the bottom of the case do not stay attached very long and are easily lost) as well as construction and quality control issues (viz. poor fit of some cases, melting of case in the sun, etc). Clearly, this case is a good example of caveat emptor!

Better quality than the other ones I looked at from Amazon, and I tried on at least 3 on my MBP. Thicker plastic. Updated: It's been 2 years since I bought the light purple one. It has done it's job in protecting my precious MBP however the case is cracked on the corners/edge and the connections on the vents on either side both broke but the overall integrity of the case was intact. What bothered me the most however was that the rubber feet all gradually came off making my laptop slide all over the place on my cooling mat. I never realized when they came off, otherwise I could have glued them back on. It was time to get a new one. Tried to go with a different brand which had a different trim on the top lid the LynneTech Rubberized Matte Finish but the seam on the inside was too sharp and I knew it would scratch my MBP. Went back to Kuzy for a different color this time, the Frost White. Looks great! Great quality for the price.

Decent for the Price - Not for Writers
Update: April 12, 2016. Just ordered new case and it was cut badly. There were micro-cracks on the edges and the plastic is visibly lighter. It looks almost like tiny jagged lines. I contacted the seller and they shipped me a new one for free. When I got the new one, it had the same problem. I wouldn't order this again, at least until they fix their cutting process! For the money, I would say that the Kuzy case is worth it. I've had it for a few months and I've liked it so far. I got the light purple color and it's beautiful; it's more of a pink-purple than the picture shows. The matte rubberized texture is one of the reasons I bought this one. I hate seeing fingerprints on a shiny surface. I do however, see oil spots in the most common parts of the lid where I open and close it. They can be wiped off with a wet cloth. I also bought the keyboard cover so I’ll include pictures to see them both together. There are two flaws with the case, in my opinion. The first is the two small grooves in the bottom front panel where you rest your wrists to type. They are sharp and do dig into my skin. It's actually the corners of two 'dents' that hurt my wrists the most; not the dent itself. I don't type all day, so it doesn't bother me enough to get a new case at the moment. The second flaw is the case itself. There are small areas where it looks like the plastic has chipped or cracked and I don't really know what they're from. I keep this laptop at home on a lap desk and there shouldn't be this kind of wear. These cracks haven't damaged the case; it's still intact but I can't figure out what they are! I've cleaned the case, so I know it's not dust. All in all, I like the case for the price. I just couldn't see myself spending $60+ on another when I keep it at home. I would recommend this case to the average laptop user. I would not recommend this case to authors or people who need to type a lot daily.

Great product for the money
Fits great and serves its purpose. I work from home and really just wanted something to protect from scratches. Not sure about protection from drops since most of the time my computer's on the coffee table or desk and I don't carry it around with me much. Looks just like the images and I think it's a good product for the money.

Not the same color and poorly made.
Bought it for my daughter to use on her laptop for college. (This is her review)-- The bottom was slightly too short, so never clipped on properly but i kept it on anyway. The bottom half cracked at stress points before the first semester was over and one of the side bars is cracked almost completely off. Because of this, the case itself will catch on things like fabric or my backpack and crack it even more. The top is nearly impossible to get off, and I'm actually afraid forcing it off will damage my laptop. Also the color is completely off from what is pictured, it came as more of a sheer rose toned purple, which is still pretty, but just not the color that is pictured and that I ordered. I'm currently looking for a new laptop case because this one is just so troublesome.

Nice case
Good, sturdy case. Makes my computer feels protected. Top part fits perfectly, although the bottom piece slides off a little and isn't an exact fit on my Mac 15 in.
