Coppertone SPORT Sunscreen Spray SPF 100, 5.5 FL OZ

As titled- I have a love hate relationship with this product. When you put it on it feels heavy. Like you’re putting a clear top coat all over your body. That feeling goes away pretty quickly though. I don’t love the smell but it’s ok. It leaves flaky or gritty white stuff sometimes. BUT… this stuff stays put!! When I tried to scrub it off with a bar of dial and my African net sponge in the shower it didn’t budge. I had to exfoliate again with dial and a different cloth to remove it. So for any of the discomforts honestly the staying power makes it a 5 star product in my eyes

I'm a redhead and a tri-athlete. I need a sunscreen that stays on while I'm swimming, then continues working while I bike and run. I sweat more than a half gallon (according to my fitness tracker), so it's no small feat for my sunscreen to keep working. I burn in 15 minutes of direct sunlight, so I'll know if it fails! After years of searching, the 100 spf coppertone sport sunscreen is the best I've found. This stuff could protect an albino dolphin in the tropics. Sometimes you can find a generic knockoff at Target that does a similarly good job, but I keep coming back to the brand-name when I can't find it. This stuff penetrates my air-hair to stick on my skin. Most guys who wear sun lotion know what I'm talking about -- this stuff sticks to your skin more than your hair. Most of the reviews complain that this stuff is sticky, which it is. For me, that's a feature rather than a flaw. It feels like I'm coated in a layer of protective wax. I have to use some strong soap like Dr. Bronner's to actually wash this stuff off. I use it at the beach, too, but of course get caked in sand if I'm not careful. If your primary concern is not getting a sunburn during intense outdoor activity, this is the stuff for you. Otherwise, move on to something a little lighter-duty. I recommend applying it outdoors, since the vapors probably stick to your lungs, and it smells bad until it dries.

it makes my skin sticky - but I can wash it off so it's not the end of the world. the SPF is as advertised, I was out in the sun for 2 hours today and did not get burned.

I used two of the bottles, and they were fine. Tried to use the third bottle and it will not spray. I would’ve contacted you earlier if I had known that the third bottle was defective. Please advise. I’d like to re-order. I don’t want to re-order three and only get two that are functional that doesn’t make it cost-effective. Please update me on this situation.

Love this sunscreen, BUT it does leave my skin sticky. I must use my shower gloves to scrub and get the stickiness off my skin. That’s why I took a star off.

I burn in the sun unless im using this. If I dont, I regret it.

I honestly dont like this spray sunscreen. First off, the top doesnt work nor does the sprayer. Its defective and what I can see from the reviews its all the tops. Second the sunscreen. It leaves a thick reside. Its shinny and when you sweat or wipe off any part of your body that you sprayed it leaves caked crust everywhere. I just gave up and used my childs 100spf kids max from banana boat with no issues. No reside. I'll stick to that one for me as well. This one, hard pass.

I share the mixed reviews; It does the job of protecting from sunburn, so that’s a good reason to use it. The problem is it dries on the skin like glue and pulls skin and hair if not stretched out completely when applied. When I enter water with it on it pulls up with little white balls on my skin. Same happened to my partner so it’s not just me. It’s not easy to wash off. I have sensitive skin and have had to scrub it off, which caused irritation. Finally, I used this in combination with my face SPF cream and they don’t mix well.

Although this is bit sticky when applied, it get absorbed soon. And I really love the tanned tone I get after using this product. Shake well before use. Recommended!!

Dice que es 100 pero la verdad si nos bronceamos, ojo seca muy rápido y puede ser que te quede una plasta muy gruesa en varias partes, recomendaría que se pusieran en la mano y luego aplicaran pero rápido por que seca muy pronto. En una familia de 4 por 2 dias se nos acabó muy rápido.

Un buen bloqueador, casi no se me nota que estuve una semana de vacaciones en un destino de playa, tomé el sol sin preocupaciones y no me afectó a la piel. Lo recomiendo.
