With the 4 different colored squares, I am more confident that I have an accurate Ph level than with the single colored paper strips. The 4 squares are secured onto a longer plastic strip making it easy to measure readings without getting solution on yourself. I found the price reasonable. I do go through a lot of these, I measure the ph level before generating my solution, again if I make any adjustments, after generating it, and before using if the solution has sat a while. You can cut these vertically in half or 3rds to stretch them. I find the current price point very reasonable, and plan on making these a regular purchase.

**Q: Has anyone tested these for accuracy using a professional pH meter?**
A: Hello, this test paper is made of good quality litmus paper,can get fast, accurate and reliable results in just seconds. Thanks.

**Q: what is the shelf life for these strips and do they need to be stored in an air tight container?**
A: No information on shelf life on container and strips come in a plastic box for storage.  I think they should be stored away from high moisture areas.

**Q: Can you please provide a cert with and experation date?**
A: I dont have them to check expirations. I threw this product away. I tested it on a brand of water that is advertised as very alkaline, and the ph strips tested normal to acidic, then on tap water, evian water and the alkaline water tested the same as the others. I even tested orange juice, assuming it would be acidic and it was normal. Don't waste your money.

**Q: I’m confused, the strips already have 4 colored boxes on the strips. When I dip it into water, nothing happens to the strips. How does it work?**
A: Water has a neutral pH, so it won’t change color. Other products will cause a stronger color change.
