Great for weekends away got this as a gift packaging and item much better than expected 5 stars

The shark design is really cool. Great to use yourself or give as a fun an unexpected gift.It offers decent enough leverage to allow the opening of bottles with ease. The corkscrew function is an added bonus making it a useful tool to have on you when outdoors or camping.It's sturdy and well presented making it giftable too. Recommended.

On receiving this, I thought it was a lovely gift idea. The box is elegant in black and gold and the bottle openers is nestled in a nice sponge insert. There is also a lovely little blank gift card for you to fill in.The bottle opener feels substantial and looks well made. The mouth end is for taking bottle tops off and when you unscrew it you reveal the corkscrew. The shark's body then slides into the slot on the corkscrew part to create a T shape.On the one I received, it was a very tight fit and difficult to remove the shark's body back out of the slot. After struggling for quite a while, I succumbed and gave it a tap with a pair of pliers and it parted again.This was quite disappointing and not in keeping with what appeared to be a nice gift.At £12.99 it would still make a nice stocking present for someone strong!

The perfect gift for anyone who likes their beer or wine. It’s something a bit different, that’s a bit of fun, and a talking point at the dinner table.If you wanted to give this as a gift, it’s presented in a very impressive way. There is a plain matt black outer sleeve. Inside this is a quality strong black box, branded with perfectly executed gold lettering. When you take the lid off the box, there’s a small cardboard pouch, with a white gift card inside, made using good quality decent-weight card. It’s blank inside, so that you can write your own message. The outside has gold scroll edging, with the centre being embossed in gold with a picture of a wrapped gift box, and the words “Especially for you” underneath that, it says “with my best wishes”. The keyring is then sitting inside a moulded velvet covered tray. This really does look the biz.The actual keyring opener is probably too large and weighty for most people to want to carry around with them day to day. It’s 10.5cm long, without the ring, and about 1cm wide in diameter. I chose the dark silver one, and I’m really impressed with the build quality and look of the item. It looks very professional, aged and with a smooth lacquered finish. It looks like it’s been precision engineered, rather than cast in a mould, as there are no seams. The cork screw is hidden inside and unscrews. You then slide the shark’s fin into the slot on the cork screw to form a t-shaped handle. When you’re finished, you just screw it back inside the shark’s body. I gave this item to my husband, and he loves it for opening his beer bottles. The function on this is as good as the looks.

This bottle opener is gold in colour and comes in a classy gift box. Really easy to carry around, for the occasions when I need to open a bottle. Looks good on the table.because it is small, Iattach it to my keychain, although it is a keychain in its own right. In the handbag, it is like a mini pen. Definitely recommend this if you are always travelling around.

I was looking for a cheap a cheerful gift for a friend and came upon this.It comes in a nice presentation box with a card you can fill in to personalise it.Its a study bottle opener and when you unscrew the top and place the lower section through the hold it becomes a corkscrew too. A nifty little idea.Although it was a little stuff to remove once in corkscrew mode.Its a nice little novelty item and thus the price wasnt an issue @ £13 and there was a 10% off voucher at the time of this review too.

This is a very well designed novelty bottle opener/corkscrew which is nicely presented in a stylish gift box and comes with a gift card for your own personal message.It is very well engineered, the corkscrew sits inside the body of the bottle opener and is revealed by unscrewing the end, very clever. To use the corkscrew you simply have to slide it on to the body of the shark, simple as that. I have tested the bottle opener, which works well, but not the corkscrew as many bottles of wine these days seem to be screw top. I really like the satin bronze finish and the engraved detail. There is a ring to attach to a keyring but I feel as though this might be a little cumbersome attached to a bunch of keys.Overall, I am very impressed with this and feel as though it would make a lovely gift for someone, even if they have a bottle opener already, this is just that little bit different.

Makes for a nice handle for my key ring. Functionally it sometimes takes 2-3 attempts to open a bottle but it’s just so darn cute. Seems durable but it does have a habit of unscrewing itself. I don’t personally mind too much. Not a bad gift idea

Looks smaller than the actual item so probably not the best key chain item but for an outdoor bag or backpack etc works fine.
