THE NORTH FACEWomen’s Venture 2 Waterproof Hooded Rain Jacket (Standard and Plus Size)

This is the second North Face rain jacket I have in this style. Before a trip to Costa Rica I couldn't find the first one and couldn't travel to the rainforest without it, so ordered a second, knowing this is my go to rain jacket. I'm 5' 6" 148 lbs. and got a size large...it's roomy but I want to be able to layer underneath it in cooler weather. It has large pockets with zippers, underarm zip-open air vents for hotter weather and a flattering fit. I got Light Grey Heather and really like this color!

Nice and roomy to fit over layers. I've worn this jacket razor clam digging, beachcombing and out in the boat in the pouring rain. It has kept me dry and serves as a great windbreak! I zip my phone in the pocket and it stays dry as well.

Nice tailored fit . I purchased the small. I’m 5’5” -125 pds. . The gardenia white is a nice soft shade of white . Very happy with the purchase

Whether I had 2-3 layers or a puffy jacket under this for warmth, this jacket was a success in Iceland. It was suggested as a must-have item while visiting there by quite a few travel blogs so I took everyones suggestion to get the next size up (I am normally an XS/S in tops, so I got a Medium in this jacket to allow for layering). This jacket kept me dry at the waterfalls and throughout all of the rain - it also performed well in very windy conditions. I wish that the hood had a bit more structure/more of a bill, but grab a ball cap and you will be fine.

Attractive rain jacket but not waterproof at ALL. I was running for two hours in the rain. The contents in the pockets were soaking wet as well as my tshirt underneath of the jacket!

Fit is spot on, this are very comfy! Will be buying more in differnet colors

Locker, leichtsitzend, wasserabweisend, gut sitzende Ärmel soweit alles bestens 👍 gute Verarbeitung wie man es bei dieser Marke erwarten kann.

I bought this because The North Face has never left me down… they make perfect gear, this is breathable, super light, packable, excellent wind lock and weather resistance in a flash… doesn’t get clammy!
