Furbo Mini Pet Camera [Paid Plan Required to Activate]

Not only does it allow me to keep an eye on my dog, but it’s also a great security system for my apartment. It keeps up with what my dog is doing and sends notifications if he’s being nefarious, or being a good boy. It also sends notifications if it spots a person, or if it hears an alarm going off. The image quality is great, the night vision especially! The sound is good quality as well. My lil dude is going def with his old age so I’m not sure how well the microphone function works but I’m sure that’s good as well. Very easy to set up and the app is easy to use as well. Cannot recommend enough. I would probably buy one even if I didn’t have a dog, simply for the fact that it detects people and records when an event occurs.

I really love this Furbo Mini camera! It was easy to set up and gives me a clear view of my pet when I’m not home. I can also talk to my pet through the camera, which is a great feature. The picture quality is good, even in low light, and it lets me check in anytime from my phone for peace of mind. There is about a 2-second delay when speaking through it, but it’s still very useful and works well overall. Definitely a great option for pet owners who want to stay connected to their furry friend. Great motion detection sensor as well. I paid about 70 for a year subscription.

UGH. I had high hopes for the Furbo Mini Pet Camera. Unfortunately, UGH double UGH triple UGH. I don’t like it all nor does my dog! This product is unfortunately what I would call an “epic fail”. I’ve had this camera for a few weeks now and I did (unfortunately) pay for the subscription service so in total the camera cost more than a regular security camera I could have bought and used an SD card with. Things to keep in mind: 01) The mini pet cam does not dispense treats. I do not need it to do that but I wanted to point that out as the larger/regular one does. 02) The camera lens looks straight ahead, you cannot move the direction the camera is looking in remotely. For example if you get an alert your dog is chewing or doing something bad but then moves out of the frame, you cannot move the camera to see them. I’ve had other cameras like Netvue or Kasa that can rotate on their own. I do think my dog likes that it doesn’t rotate as you don’t hear the sound of that. 03) Photo quality is VERY POOR. I get an alert my dog is chewing on something- I cannot see what it is, I cannot zoom in enough to see. 04) I am constantly alerted that a human was spotted and get super scared and anxious that someone is in my house- however, it’s just my dog. Apparently, Furbo thinks my dog is more human. 05) You only can get the same alert every 30 minutes? 30 minutes is too long to alert me to something if my dog is sick. 06) constantly loses connection and tells me I don’t have internet when I do or that the power was disconnected but it’s not. I can’t magically disconnect and reconnect every time this happens as I need to be able to view the camera from afar…. What use it is if it’s constantly going out on me? The subscription is an absolute rip off. A joke. Furbo should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a poorly made camera. If I could give negative stars I would! This review is written by a human that has a verified purchase of this camera and subscription. I will gladly be sharing this review across sites and platforms so others do not get ripped off like me! You are much better paying for a different camera of higher quality and features. I wanted to like this and bought this as it’s specifically geared towards pets and I thought it would be nice to receive notifications on what my pet was doing. The AI just isn’t that great. UPDATE: I just received a message from Furbo? The seller? Who knows. They want me to send them photos detailing my issues so they can help me. Take photos of the sticker on the bottom of my device. Asking what color the light is on the device, blaming poor connectivity on ME. ENOUGH. I have had enough with these sellers trying to sell me on a product that is awful and I don’t want anymore. I do not recommend this camera and I surely do not recommend the subscription service which is the bigger rip off and Furbo isn’t going to change my mind. Serious updates need to be made to this camera and troubleshooting is not going to solve the poor photo quality, the inability to get notifications every 1-5 minutes instead of 30 minutes? It’s not. Again, if I’m not home how can I troubleshoot my internet connection or turn the camera on/off and fix it from afar? I can’t. This camera is useless and I give zero stars. This is a verified purchase.

This mini pet camera system has been a complete game changer for us. Our adopted puppy, Hannah Mae was very anxious about being left at home alone... we tried leaving her in a crate (for her safety and our home & furnishing's protection) but those trials ended in disasters. She destroyed 2 crates and an entire room one time. Apparently it wasn't the fact that we were leaving her at home alone but the fact that we were confining her. I'm not claiming that this method would work for every pet but it sure worked for her. Furbo allowed us to leave for short periods of time to see how she'd manage. We allowed Hannah access to the living room, the kitchen and her food area. She consistently stays home and takes care of the house. Furbo follows her movement and provides a clear view to her activities. It provides a notification to our phones when she's active and has an interactive chat function to improve the functionality. We are SO pleased with the system. It is relatively inexpensive (I think about $10 a month for the subscription? Don't quote me! + initial purchase of the system) and easy to set up and use! I also like the fact that it monitors our home (for potential intruders or safety concerns) when no one is in the home!

ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOOVE this! The quality is fantastic, motion detection is good, I can see pretty much everything, sound is good and it looks great in the home! The only negative comment I have for this is that it is a little expensive but 190% worth it. I love being able to check in on my pup when I am away.

The best thing I could’ve invested in! We have two. One for the living room and one for their room. Easy to use and set up. Motion detection picks up everything. Video quality is amazing. Connecting to WiFi was easy. And pretty durable but I also have them in high places for the pups can’t get to it

The camera quality is good, and being able to toss treats to my dogs when they're behaving is a nice feature. However, there are some major drawbacks. First, a subscription is required to access many of the camera's features. Second, the smart alerts are disappointing. Even with bark and motion alerts enabled, my dogs have barked directly in front of the camera without a single notification being sent. The calming music feature also doesn't seem to work, as my dogs continue barking without any response from the device. Another frustration is the excessive number of recordings it saves. It will create hundreds of nearly identical clips within minutes of each other—me walking across the rug, my dog walking across the rug, my dog sitting on the rug, and so on. It quickly becomes cluttered and makes it difficult to find footage that's actually important. Overall, the camera quality is good, but the alert system and video management features need significant improvement.

Setting it up is a pain in the ass, and I didn’t even have the option to pick the right camera to set up at first so I had to contact support. Overall, so far, the camera is great! It has night vision as well which I really like.

My Furbo Mini is a game-changer! I love the auto-zoom feature that helps capture Daisy's antics perfectly. It automatically zooms in on her, and I can see everything so clearly—her expressions and what she gets up to! With all the added AI smart alerts that come with the Furbo Nanny subscription, I have extra peace of mind whenever I leave home. I would highly recommend this to any dog mom!

The camera doesn’t rotate at all, it does have 3 different holes you can mount the base into. The base has a sticky bottom or you can use the little hole that’s sort of like a picture hanger hole (it grabs onto the screw head that sticks out of the wall). It’s great as an auxiliary stationary camera. Picture is quite good and it has a neat automatic zoom that does a great job of seeing your pets. The customer service every time I contact it is FANTASTIC! Every time they’ve been quick and easy to contact, ridiculously polite and made the whole experience of setting up the cameras easy and user friendly! The nanny monitoring service is a little expensive (about $125 Canadian a year) but the friendly service, piece of mind, ability to have multiple cameras monitoring all from the same app is worth this and so much more! Even if it saves a pet sitter coming to check in on my cat 5 times in the year, I’ve gotten that financial investment back!

Super caméra ! J’ai ajouté 2 minis Furbo pour faire un complément de ma Furbo 360 (avec l’abonnement Nanny) car j’avais quelques angles morts dans la pièce où mon chiot reste quand on part. Le changement de caméra est super simple et ça permets d’avoir des yeux partout et d’être réactif si il y a quelque chose d’inhabituel qui se passe. Super produit !
