Fabric is not Satin but it is about ok

I guess the best way I can describe it is that it feels like cool glass made plush. Easy to clean, doesn't get hot and sticky, and my skin and hair both feel softer.I still wear a bonnet, but on nights when I just don't get through my bedtime routine, I know I at least have this.

So after doing some research to help fix my dry hair, one of the main things it said was to try satin. So I replaced my pillow case with this satin pillow case. One- it is so soft. I love the texture. Cotton pillow cases pull the moisture out of your hair causing dry hair while this one protects your hair. I am a true fan. This combined with regular oil treatment, has severely improved breakage.

I didn't even know that there was such a thing as fake satin, but apparently, there is if these are made from natural satin. This pillowcase feels so nice to the touch and against your face. I got this for my wife to see if it helped her bed-head hair. I tried it and ended up keeping it because it felt so nice. It reminded me of some pillows I had at a luxury hotel. It has a smooth feel to your cheeks and hair, but not so slippery like you're going to fall off. I'd get these again, but maybe not in black.

I'm really happy you get 2 pillow cases. It's really important to change those out frequently in case of breakouts/skin and hair issues. These are satin not natural silk, but still smooth and slippery, so it does less damage on your hair and skin (from friction and body oils absorbing into the fabric I suppose). I have wavy hair and am into skincare so I'm all about this. I use satin pillow cases a lot and my hair and skin are pretty healthy so hopefully there's a bit of correlation lol. I like the cool feeling of satin too.I guess my only gripe with satin/silk pillow cases is that sometimes your head slides around a lot more and is annoying for my neck and head positioning, occasionally. Satin always tends to wrinkle too, but I don't mind wrinkling with bed sheets.
