## Description

A complete gecko diet, Pangea Gecko Diet Breeding Formula is designed to fulfill the unique requirements of reproductive crested geckos. The fruits used are a delicious blend of Bananas and Apricots that creates a feeding response similar to our other formulas. The higher fat levels help keep egg production strong throughout the breeding season. The calcium level is near the maximum level for a complete diet. It is sometimes necessary to add a little plain calcium to the food if your females are becoming depleted. Alternatively, you can offer plain calcium in a dish for your females to lick from as needed. To get the most out of this diet, fresh food should be offered at least every other day during the breeding season even though there will be some waste. Smaller more frequent feedings are more appropriate for breeders than sparse feedings on which they tend to gorge themselves. Live dusted bugs are optional but can be offered once or twice a week in place of Pangea Gecko Diet Breeding Formula for variety and to help keep your geckos active and stimulated. Pangea Gecko Diet Breeding Formula was is ideally suited as a breeder formula but can be fed to geckos of all life stages. It is showing a lot of promise as a growth formula however it was developed with breeders so it will take more time before we can conclusively make that claim. -Very Palatable. -Most of the protein and fat from bug sources. -Higher fat content for great breeding results. -Maximum calcium levels. -Excellent for Breeders but can also be fed to geckos of all life stages.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the right feeding schedule?**
A: Under normal circumstances your gecko will only need 3 to 5 feedings per week.

**Q: How much should I offer my gecko per feeding?**
A: It depends on the age of your gecko. Most Juveniles should receive about 1/16th of an ounce or a dime size portion. Subadults should receive 1/8th of an ounce or a nickel sized portion. An adult should receive a quarter to about a half ounce portion.

**Q: Why shouldn't I freeze the diet to help it last longer?**
A: The ice crystals that form during the freezing process can potentially damage the cell walls of the plant ingredient contents and reduce the overall nutritional value of the diet.

**Q: Why does the unrefrigerated prepared feed expire after a day?**
A: The prepared feed can be compared to a fruit smoothie. A fruit smoothie sitting in a humid tropical environment like a gecko terrarium will not last as long as it would while refrigerated.
