Purchase this fan about a year ago and it was perfect . I was getting things ready for this summer and when I went to use the fan it didn’t work. Contacted the seller (expecting a long wait time) and was surprised to get a response in about 12 hours. I explained the problem and they immediately responded with a couple tips to try. When that didn’t work they immediately offered me a free replacement (including shipping) . EXCELLENT customer service.Went out and checked it again as I thought about something that might be causing the problem with the fan and discovered what it was. The fan was working but I had it plugged into a WiFi dimmer plug that was set on LOW SPEED. Once I adjusted that the problem was solved. I immediately contacted the seller to stop processing the shipment but they had just sent me the tracking info ( they had already shipped a replacement) . Again, this seller definitely stands behind their products . Told them that if they can’t stop the package i will gladly return it when I receive it and reimburse them as this was MY error. Omg..where have you been all my life. This sucker works Great!!! Long story short, our small apartment bathroom is being shared with 4 people and it get pretty wet and muggy in there after 4 showers. The walls get wet...yuck. So after a few searches, found this exhaust fan, fits right in our window opening. Flip the switch after showering, and Wow this thing sucks out the bathroom air with 2-3 minutes and dries out the bathroom. Its not loud and works great four apartment. It has made our lives much easier. Thank you!! Side note, It happen to come as slightly broken. The plastic screws were broken off and can't seem to hold the metal fan in place. But it worked in our favor as we didn’t need the back flap to open and close while in operation or in motion. We just set it on our window opening and it stays put. The window has a mesh screen and uses as a outside filter.

This is nearly perfect, with one exception--it starts slow and takes a long time to build up speed. I don't know if this is by design or if it's a flaw, but for my purposes, I really did want it to start at the speed I set, not take 10 minutes to ramp up to it. Otherwise, the build quality is excellent, and it's been working for over a year in harsh conditions.

Great value and works as advertised. I also appreciate the great customer service. When the fan arrived I had an issue with the louver pins on one side, it still worked however. I emailed the manufacturer and they responded within 24 hours and immediately sent me new pins. I appreciate the great customer service.

Just as advertised, quite, easy to install, good air flow in my tool shed/work shop and having the speed control makes very user friendly.

Good 14inch vent fan, used for a home generator box

This is a poorly made machine and I wonder how it managed good reviews in the first place. The fan was broken in the box, but unfortunately I waited to long to inspect it and now I'm stuck with a broken fan. The louvers are poorly designed such that there is a small pin on holding the ends of the louver blades to the casing. These pins all sheared during shipment, but I doubt they would have lasted long even if they weren't broken in shipment, they are that weak.I reached out to Amazon and learned I waited to long, my bad. I reached out to the manufacturer and only got a link to frequently asked questions which were mostly nonsense and did not tell me how to make good on what should be a warranty claim. So, I bought another product instead. It's starting to warm up soon in the Gulf and I need to vent heat out of my greenhouse when it does.

Upon opening I was surprised to see the good quality of the fan until I examined it. One side of the moveable louver clips were completely broken but thankfully it came with extra clips. However the plastic spacer on one of them that the clips go into was broken and they didn’t include extras of those. After I got that sorted out I decided to put the mesh screen on and was disappointed to see that the holes that the screws go through on it were non-existant. You had to align and cut through the mesh to be able to screw it in, not a huge deal however the pictures on the listing showed the holes already cut. Other than having to do the manufactures job to get the fan in working order, it’s a nice fan that puts out some air.
