Working on an old mustang in the garage you find a lot of dark areas the ceiling lights or work stand lights just cant get to. I was looking at many work lights and did not want a rechargeable since I work in 10-12 hours spurts on the weekends. For those wondering if 5000 lumen is enough, yes it is. The light has two light level modes, so you can turn the level down a bit if needed. Its compact, I can fit it under the car, in the trunk or inside the cabin. The two side lights are directional and you can target them exactly where you need, great for welding in a dark area. I was removing a trunk pan and pointed the main light away from my work area and turned the side light directly on my work area in the trunk quarter panel, everything was lite up. The 120vac outlet is great because the light essentially does not take up an outlet. There is a USB charge port to, great for recharging a hand held light, phone or camera. When running my sander and grinders the light didn't blink or stutter at all, stayed at same light level. It folds up in a neat square bundle to be put away, has hanging mount holes on the back case and the power cord coming off the back has about 8inches of spiral cord to take the stress off the wire power cord coming out of the rear housing. The housing is stout, I dropped my air hammer right on top of it and it didn't even leave a mark. If you need a light to get into tight areas like under a car or trunk space, wheel well or engine bay don't hesitate on this one, for the price its easily worth double. And its from a brand we all heard of, not some random company here today gone next week. If you are working on a restoration job like and old car, get this light, you wont be disappointed.

Really like the 3 light settings and can plug in to charge another light/phone, plus i could plug in my grinder, etc.

How nice to have a work light that actually runs on electricity (not everybody works "off the grid"). I was looking for an old-fashioned "workshop" light, the kind that could be hung from the inside of a car hood or on a garage hook, when I came across this. It's not much more money than the older style (if you can still find a quality one).Pros:+extremely bright+can simultaneously provide light to front+both sides, or front+back+folds/locks into compact position+sturdy build; tight locking knob+unlike many competitors, has a handle & various holes that allow hanging onto nails or hooks.Suggestions for improvement:-on/off switch becomes hidden by side lights if they are turned to the "backwards" position, & light is too bright to see switch if it were on front. Perhaps it could be moved to one side or the handle?-would like to be able to separately turn side lights on/off independently of front light-even with all the handy holes, I would still like to see it come with a fold-out hook.Overall, this lamp is close to the price of other lamps with much less brightness & less features, so this is a very good value.

Great work light! My wife purchased this light for me after my many complaints about working in our crawl space with a handheld flashlight. Of course, getting work done using one hand isn’t ideal. Now that I have this light, I have two hands to work with again. This light fits perfectly in a small crawl space and also my attic. It illuminates on 2 different levels and both are very powerful. There are 2 side panel lights that rotate up and down and the entire light is waterproof! No worries about working in the basement in the area that floods. It’s pretty awesome! I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend it for any obscure work in a dark space.

Great lights, bought two of them. Bright and truly the most sturdy and well built lights you can buy. Light weight adjustability and even has plug in on the face for extention cord and to charge phones etc. Folds down perfectly. Just a great product.

I used it while installing laminate flooring and I look forward to using it in the garage and for other projects.Pros:It is extremely bright and can provide light simultaneously to the front and both sides, or front and back.It folds and locks into a compact position, and has a sturdy build with a tight locking knob.The outlet and USB connection provide additional versatility, particularly for charging your phone while watching or listening to something while working.Cons:The material used could be stronger, as it currently feels flimsy.It doesn't stand alone very well and tends to fall over unless you put something heavy on the stand.

After using this light for over a month, it seems great. The output is very bright and the ability to adjust the side lights to different angles is super useful. Also the tilt adjustment for the entire light works well because it has indentations that help hold it in place, so you don't have to tighten it very much at all to get it to stay at whatever angle you like. I would definitely buy this again.

I am a big fan of Porter Cable products. I have several of there tools. This light is super bright and sets firmly on the ground. The side lights are very useful to extend the lighted area. I use it in the shop and we use it in the back yard for corn hole events.

We now have six of these that we use for work and play regularly.
