Review: IYKYK - Im not really sure why i am writing this review. I assume anyone looking at this ball must have seen someone else throwing it at league. I bet you lost your match to that guy/girl. Id say half of the house where i roll are rolling one of these. 6 out of the 8 people on our pair(Two 4 person teams) 6 were throwing this ball including me. I have mine at 1500, i play this ball from the left gutter out to the 2-1 board. I also have mine drilled to be early, with max hook and arch. I have to throw this ball to the right or it would hook off the lane before it clears the pattern. My house lays down 42-45ft patterns you know soup in the middle. its very rare that this dosent come back even on the freshest of the fresh Ive played it on short and dry, just try to keep it in the wet as long as possible. im playing in the left ditch at that point. Numbers wise this ball sits under black widow, and above Envy Tour This ball fills my continuous ball motion in my bag with BW SkidFlip, and Envy as my traction. Personally i think you should pick a ball with core/numbers that align with a motion you are looking for, and then maximize that with an appropriate layout. Most people i see using this ball have it drilled as a skidflip and leave the factory polished finish. If you want a long skid flip ball the Black Widow is a better option, maybe even the Ghost white pearl if you want to maximize that flip. I have a relatively high RPM and usually keep my speed between 15-17mph depending on the night. Depending on how you throw you may need/want to keep the factory shine. I think everyone ive seen roll this ball, also has to throw it out to the right becuase of how early this ball is by design. Everyone wants to say it has more hook than a Black Widow, i would say it def hooks way sooner than a Widow even when drilled in the same skid flip pattern. With the factory shine it does come of the spot really hard, just like every other pearl. There is just something about a sanded pearl and how it grips early in the pattern, it just works fantastic for me at 1500. But thats me, and my game. Probably not the best choice for a big ball if you've never thrown a bigger asym. Honestly i think if you wanted a big bad asym, something like a black widow might be a better choice as you can get away plating it straight up the first arrow, vs this ball you probably need to throw it to the one board if you played first arrow. Your going to need to throw this ball to the right ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a fantastic bowling ball *by H***G on May 4, 2024* For someone my age, 65, I needed a lighter ball and not only am I able to swing the ball easier, I'm able to place it on the lane where I want it, in a more consistent manner. I just needed a 13lb. ball as I found out my 15lb. ball was just hurting me after 4 games... shoulder, and fingers specifically. But that aside, this ball with it's advertised "Adhesion" additive to the cover stock, ignores the oil. Maybe ignores it, isn't quite that accurate, but its as close to how I perceive it's ability to track through the oil.
