Oster Oatmeal Essentials Shampoo, 18-Ounce, Shed Control

I CANNOT overstate enough how AMAZING this shampoo brand is. I've bounced around and used all types of pet shampoos, most of them much more expensive than this. This shampoo easily surpasses them all. I usually just buy it from my local walmart but it's even cheaper here on amazon.So here are the areas I'm judging:Application, smell, fur shine, softness of fur, and overall fur health.Application: a little bit of this shampoo goes a long way. I am just coming off using a more expensive brand and this Oster Puppy Shampoo is much thicker. Most other shapoos for puppies are watery so you find yourself going back over and over again to get nore shampoo. With Oster's it's just one squirt for the trunk of the body and head and then one squirt gets all of her limbs. It lathers really nicely and rinses off easily.Smell: this powder smell is noy overpowering at all, but adds a nive baby smell to my puppy that makes me excited for a sniff of her! It smells better than most other products I have used in the past and the smell lasts longer too and keeps my puppy smelling fresher.Fur after use: before using this shampoo I decided to try a more expensive brand. Ot left her fur really dull and she didn't smell very good. I actually even contacted my vet about my pup's lackluster coat. I used this once and her fur is so glossy and smooth looking. It is so soft to the touch, its like silk or a very soft down. I cannot stop running my fingers through her fur! She has no dandruff, irritation, itching and scratching or anything else that could indicate unhealthy fur.I'm so impressed with Oster evwry time i use one of their products. I've used thwir products for years and I feel like I should get something more expensive for my pets, but everytime I am sadly disappointed because it simply is never as good as Oster in any of the areas I mentioned above. The price makes this an absolute must have. I would and do recommend thks product to everyone I can and I will absolutely continue buying Oster shampoos.

I LOVE this shampoo and conditioner. I’ve tried both and different scents and they were both wonderful. Smelt so good and the scent lasted for days, fur was so soft. It was so safe and didn’t agitate their skin. I used it for years and no longer can find it anymore. So sad to see it’s discontinued I hope it comes back. Now I’m lost on what to use next as I can’t find it anywhere that isn’t atleast triple the cost. Beware, it’s supposed to be around $8..I would also like to add if you have a poodle or dog with similar “fur” that is more like hair, you need to get something specifically for that fur type on your dog. This obviously may not work well for your poodle compared to my pit bull and lab.

Makes my siberian husky smell good and her fur is so soft after using. No irritation to her skin at all.

My absolute favorite scent. No wet dog smell or at least not like others. Cleans well and smells long after bath time. Very gentle

First of all, I have been buying this soap for my dog for 1 year and I love it. The scent is pleasant and makes my dog smell great. It helps his fur stay soft. Second, my only complaint is that on arrival I noticed one of the bottles of soap that I purchased was half empty. Still a great soap overall, just seems to be an issue at distribution, they must not make sure the bottles are full before shipping.

I have a sweet little Malshi who has hair not fur. This shampoo is my favorite to use on her. I have tried a few others but this is gentle and I love the baby powder scent and it does a nice job cleaning her fur without making it look dull. I only wish they made a detangler or conditioner.

Love the smell. Works well on my cockapoo.

This is my go to dog shampoo. I'm currently using it on my short haired teenage puppy and previously used it on my previous short haired adult dog with itchy dry skin. Works well and leaves a shiny soft coat with an inoffensive scent
