Great With A Nice Thick Sock
I'm really loving these and just hoping they're made well enough to not fall apart too fast. I did use fabric wax to help keep water from seeping through the canvas. The red interior will bleed on your socks otherwise. And these are pretty minimal in terms of support. But they run a bit large, so there is room for a nice thick sock and/or additional padding (sole inserts, heel supports, whatever you need). At the end of they day, they're simple, easy to wear, look cool, and feel great.UPDATE: These have held up beautifully and are very comfy. Imagine indoor/outdoor slippers mixed with Converse Chuck Taylors and you're pretty much there. Will buy again if these ever wear out.

Zero drop barefoot-style safety boots!
A note: the "lack" of arch support and cushioning is a feature, not a bug - just like other minimalist barefoot-style shoes.Update: DEFINITELY order a half size smaller than your usual shoe size. My first pair (the grey pair) I bought in my usual size (8.5M), and they were far too loose. The black pair I ordered in size 8 and they fit like an absolute dream.Lightweight, well-built, zero-drop, barefoot-style safety shoes are a rarity, to the point that after 30+ hours of research these and the split toed "tabi" variety are the only ones readily available apart from some more common brand shoes that require a little modification. So far they are very comfortable, with a decent sized toe box (narrower than your usual barefoot-style show but still with more than enough room for my wide front foot area). Ordering a half size down lets these fit like a dream, every bit as comfortable as my significantly more expensive Xero & Freet! brand minimalist shoes but with the added benefit of being safety toes that are required for my work. I don't work where sole puncture resistance is necessary, but I'd be a little cautious if that's something you'll need -there's plenty of grip from the tread pattern, but I'd imagine that nails or sharp metal would go through them without much effort.

A bit of a Disappointment
well... If you were looking for a decent FUGU replacement like me, prepare to be a little disappointed. The build quality is ok, the fabric itself looks sturdy enough, but the fit is not so good. I ordered a 26.5 size after measuring my foot with a ruler. the actual fit is a bit larger but the main issue is that the width which is to much so in order to close it I need to use the maximum length of the scotch thingy and it's not comfortable. so my advise is to get a size smaller that what you think you should get.

Good light-weight boot
All the cloth pieces are canvas, and NOT water resistant, so you will need to add that yourself. As with other reviews, it has no arch support but is otherwise comfortable and has a good steel toe. The hook and loop straps seem strong but the sole is thin, you won't want to be wearing these for hikes or long walks across rocky terrain, you WILL feel it, and it won't feel nice. I mainly liked it because it looked semi futuristic and didn't cost an arm and a leg.

runs a little large, in a good way.
Expected the size to be questionable but was pleasantly surprised. They run a little large, but in a good way. The toes, rubber, and canvas material is good and will last for the price, but the sole is pretty thin, especially for a work boot. Fortunately, because they run a little large, they can perfectly fit a slip-in gel sole from the drug store. Once you've got those in them, they're perfect. I originally bought them for fashion and costume use, but once I got the gel soles in them and they became properly comfortable, they instantly became my go-to pair of shoes.

Quirky but outstanding
If you don't like thick socks, order a half size smaller. These are great boots though, they really do feel like slippers and are honestly more comfortable than a lot of sneakers I own. I can hardly believe there's a steel toe. If you have skinny legs, you may need to add some stitches to shorten the velcro. This might sound like a lot of work but I promise it will be worth it.

Cool boots, no lining though, so they might be a little big.
Love these boots - they have a cool look to them (like Captain America boots!), and they appear to be of good quality. I ordered the equivalent of US size 11 (29 cm), which is normally what I order... however my feet slide around in them quite a bit. Trying to figure out a solution to this problem. I probably should have returned them for a size smaller, but it's too late now.
