Can’t go back
I got the 77 inch G4, and I’m highly impressed. The problem is how quickly I became spoiled. This is my first OLED tv. The blacks and contrast are what I felt like was biggest weakness to all my prior LCD, LED type tvs.I would recommend going into the general settings and turn off the energy savings. It dims the screen and I initially thought something was wrong, but that fixed what I was seeing. It’s expensive, but like most things, you get what you pay for. I looked at Samsung and Sony, but ultimately went with what I felt would be the best. I am not disappointed, and very happy I went with the LG G4.09/22/24Having this 77inch G4 for 3 months now is making me feel even better about going for it.I have other TV’s, which look very good.I simply haven’t seen a better picture on a tv before.I have a PS5 and I didn’t realize what I was missing prior to owning the g4. Gaming is more detailed than ever and the lighting and contrast have never been better to me.No problems to report after 3 months.

Best TV I've ever owned
Never leaving my house again. The picture clarity and colors on this TV are astounding. I never thought a TV could be this clear and bring such life to movies. No matter what I watched, it was as if I was experiencing it for the first time. This TV has THAT kind of an affect. I use my PS5 as my entertainment hub and instantly after just loading up the main menu I was blown away. I stared at the menu icons just appreciating how crystal clear everything was. I instantly started pulling up my favorite movies and rewatching them. I went with the 83" version and it feels like I am in a movie theater. I went from a 65" and this upgrade feels huge. LOVE the size.Con - Kind of...The sound with the built-in speakers on this thing isn't all that great. However! I am used to having a sound bar attached to my TV and continue to use it with this one. The TV has a great AI feature to dial in your sound settings and performs test using the tv remote as a mic to adjust settings. Alongside using the speakers of the TV AND the sound bar in unison, the sound is amazing. This isn't for everyone, but tbh if you are getting an 83" TV that costs this much, you are not getting it for the amazing sound clarity. Invest in a home theater audio setup to go along with it or at the very least a cheap sound bar. Can't recommend this TV enough. Love it.

Excellent TV!
I purchased the LG 77-Inch Class OLED evo G4 Series Smart TV. Excellent TV. Great picture, vivid colors, easy setup. The room where this TV is located is very bright, yet even dark scenes are easily visible. Although the specs stated, "Wall Mount", I was curios to know if it could also sit on a stand and so I asked the question, "Does this come with a stand?" Response: "The LG 77-Inch Class OLED evo G4 Series Smart TV does come with a stand."It does not!So if you're looking for a TV to sit on an entertainment center or some other piece of furniture, this is not for you.

LG G4 77”
I purchased (Like New) 77” condition and received the tv by freight. I believe the tv I got was NEW. Every thing looked factory new with all the plastic still on. The box did have a small dent on the corner which concerned me but the LG is boxed and protected very well. Install was easy on the wall. Just need to make sure you have an ultra thin box cut out behind for power cord and other HDMI cables. That ensures a flush fit with the wall. Other than that, the TV is a 10 /10 for me. Last note still planning on getting a sound bar but not needed . Speakers on the LG are still good enough for most people!

Yup!
Aaahhh! I love it! I bought this as birthday present for my husband, because I really didn't want that big TV, but OH my, he can't get from me. It is awesome, especially for gaming. For movies is actually not as good because the darker scenes are almost invisible. But I still love it

Great picture, terrible software experience
The OLED panel itself is excellent with beautiful picture, deep blacks, and great brightness. Unfortunately, LG has ruined the experience with webOS.The app selection is limited compared to Android TV or Google TV. Many apps you’d expect, like Paramount, can’t be installed without creating an LG account and agreeing to heavy-handed marketing permissions. IP Channels (really just Pluto TV) is forced into the input list and cannot be removed. This is clearly a monetization deal that comes at the expense of the customer experience. You cannot install apps as freely as you can on the Google Play Store, and sideloading is not supported. The UI is overly complicated; you often need to look up tutorials or even ask AI assistants just to find simple settings. Advertising is baked into the system, and LG is clearly tracking viewing habits. There is no straightforward way to opt out.The hardware is outstanding, but the interface, lack of app freedom, forced ads, and intrusive data collection make this a frustrating TV to actually use. A shame, because the display itself deserves much better software.

Most amazing with small quirks (Overall Amazing)
First of all, I would say it was definitely an expensive purchase but also kind of worth it in my case or maybe I’m just saying that to make myself feel good but any way I bought it for gaming, to use this with my PS5 and mu lounge is super lit with really bright sunlight for the whole day for which this TV checks all the boxes. The picture is top notch, I’ve personally never seen any other TV with such a good image quality and clarity. The colors and contrast is just perfect and also the picture modes make it so easy to view for different scenarios. It is a bit heavy but I only faced that issue when I was mounting it on the stand and I never had to touch it again.Cons:Now some of the cons which are not that big of a deal but are there. The sound quality is pretty average and if you’re spending so much money you definitely expect it to be better than average but I’m using bluetooth speakers with it so it’s not affecting me. The second con is the UI, it’s not sleek or minimal at all and there’s just so much going on which I don’t like but I’ve gotten used to it with time.Overall it’s not hard to use or setup, the functionality is not bad but a bit much some times. Should you buy it? Depends if you have the spare cash laying around then sure but I would say to wait at least till the newer version of this comes out and this will be much cheaper to buy then and will definitely be worth the money.
