Compact, easy to use.
Works great! Followed the instruction enclosed with the seed sprouter kit and in a few days had an abundance of fresh sprouts. Easy clean up.

Kind of small, doesn't allow the bean sprouts to grow very high without hitting the top
The beansprouts were hitting the top after only a couple of days, so stayed pretty small, approximately 1 inch. I also found that the bottom tray leaked when the top tray was filled with 2 cups of water.

Works
My first crop was monk bean sprouts. I wasn’t sure when to harvest, but the sprouts told me by pushing the trays up. Nothing better than fresh bean sprouts in my Pad Thai, which you can’t out in the middle of nowhere. I did need to empty the bottom tray a couple of times so the bottom tray of sprouts weren’t soaking in water. One tip, don’t try to put the debris from cleaning the sprouts into the garbage disposal, they clogged up the pipes….

Did not work for me!
I have been growing sprouts since the 60s. I've always used a mason jar with a wire lid. When I saw this invention it made perfect sense to me and I thought I could grow more sprouts faster. The first product arrived but it was scratched and I was shocked to find seeds stuck in it. That has NEVER happened to me with any Amazon product - I was sent a used product when I paid for a new product!!! I sent it back but ordered the same sprouting product again still wanting to give it a try. Most of the time I use alfalfa sprouts which I love on salads and sandwiches. It took much longer for the sprouts to start, then I noticed that while the water on the top level emptied quickly, the bottom layer was very slow. It took so long for the sprouts to get going that they began to get slimy and even a bit stinky. If that ever happened with my jar, I would just give it an extra rinse. By about a week (and very few sprouts started) I noticed that seeds were getting stuck in many of the small holes, especially in the bottom layer. I removed that layer and tried the other 3 but the same thing happened with seeds stuck.IF you use other, bigger seeds such as mung, this product just might work for you. It does NOT work for ALFALFA seeds!
