CloverSoft Touch 3.25-mm Crochet Hooks, Size D (1004/D)

I have been crocheting for over 20 years. Since then, I have always enjoyed my metal hooks. But my arthritis is getting worse and so I tried clover soft touch.I am currently working on an intricate project. I was amazed by how easily I could work with this hook. Thank you clover. I really like how lightweight and easy to hold this hook is! The handle is not as thick as other ergonomic hooks, but it is still super comfortable to hold. It is much shorter than my other hooks, but I have small hands, so I love this! I think it's part of why it is so easy to work with. I will definitely be getting more sizes as I need them.

I’m not sure how to rate this because while the quality of this hook, Clover Soft Touch, size 5mm, is good, I just don’t like it. 1 out of 5 for personal distaste, but 4 out of 5 for the hook (not the handle). I was back and forth about this one and the amour, and will describe my hold style in the hopes that it helps someone else figure out what they want.I have a loose pencil style grip, but don’t keep my fingers placed in only one spot, I actually roll the handle to yarn over/catch my yarn on the hook, and roll it back to complete my stitch. I used to get such horrible hand pain when I started crocheting and realized I held my hook too rigidly and firmly, so my hold now doesn’t cramp my hand, and I don’t move my arm or wrist very much at all. I didn’t realize just how flat the handle of the Soft Touch is, so instantly I realize I will not be able to roll the hook in my hands as I normally do. The handle itself is incredibly light weight, which I really love, but all in all I need a cylindrical crochet handle. An expensive realization, but there ya go!

These are the best crochet hooks I’ve ever used. They’re comfortable and smooth and my arthritic hands don’t get sore while working with them. Highly recommend!

I decided to upgrade my hooks. As a child I learned to crochet with a Clover hook and still have and use it today (50+ years later). I have purchased this range of hooks, sticking to sizes I most frequently use. Heartwarming that the quality of the hooks have remained the same high standard, glide through stitches with ease. Very comfortable to hold for long periods of crocheting, even for arthritic fingers and hands.I cannot recommend these hooks enough and excellent value for money.

Clover crochet hook is a best hooks, before i orderd 4 mm, 2.75 mm and just now 2.25 mm.All is best but price is too high and and takes time long.. delivered in time, before time but it’s take 2-3 weeks.

Clover soft touch hooks are my favourite. The soft touch description is a little misleading as the handle is quite firm saying that they are comfortable to work with for long periods of time and the hooks are really smooth and glide well and the tips are a good shape not to pointed and not to round.

What is not to like about any Clover Brand Crochet Hook! It is lightweight, and ergonomic. You'll be happy with this hook.
