However it does look cheap and the coating makes the items look cheap and plastic like. Not the sturdy appearance I expected. Very easy to use. The tight clamp fits very sturdy to the desk in our podcast studio and wouldn’t move from position without quite a bit of force. It would suit any studio set up for mics and is robust. However it’s very static and it takes quite a while to set it into position for different heights screwing in and out the adjustments.
