5,000 Awesome Facts (About Everything!): Updated and Expanded!

I bought this as a birthday present for a 10 year old boy. He and his younger sister (5 years old) are really enjoying it. Even their mom found some interesting facts in the book. It is very colorful and the information is presented in a way that is very accessible.

Awesome book!! A lot of interesting things to know

I've been buying books from National Geographic (for adults and kids). They are trusted for their information and awesome images.

I bought this for my 6 year old great great nephew for Xmas. It is a little advanced for him, but his mother reads to him often. The book has fun facts about all sorts of things children will find interesting.

He takes this book every where and can’t wait to tell you what all he has learned.Definitely worth it for those curious reading kiddos.

I bought it as a candy substitute for a 10 year-old for Valentine’s Day. Lesson learned. Kids don’t really like books, but he faked enthusiasm and hopefully he’ll look at it now and then.I wish his parents would let me buy candy.

This was a gift for a ten year old boy who really enjoys it. Of course then we are bombarded with facts but it shows he's reading it and retaining some of the more interesting information. It is a large book not so good for little hands but a ten year old can manage it with no problems.
