ThomsonStreaming Box 240UK, 4K UHD, Google TV, Google Voice Control,Wifi, Googlecast built-in

This is a good one, no different to a Roku or Amazon fire tv cube, easy to use works with Pluto TV and i get sound with all of my Prime video movies that i never did with my XBOX Series S!

Great box easy setup with Google acoount but not happy at all with amazon delivery left it next to me bin even tho I was in. And it was pissimg down with rain the paper bag was soaked but luck it didn't soak all the way through.. Wasn't happy about that at all

Good quick and responsive. However Web Site misleading, says you can use Google meet by plugging in a web camera, you can't. Pointed this out to support, said they would update the web site. Also no BBC iPlayer yet, but was able to side load it fortunately but not a UHD version. Otherwise a good Google TV box and Google Assistant works well in voice commands.

Brilliant easy set up speed of the stick is great picture is excellent remote works with tv but be nice if it also works with sky glass tv for volumeBetter option than the more expensive google tv own stream boxHighly recommended to give this a look

This tv stick states it runs as a Google TV and all apps can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.However it doesn’t run BBC iPlayer, ITVX or the Channel4 apps.Seriously? Yes seriously it really doesn’t!The good news however was that amazon accepted the return immediately with a full refund.

It's a nice device, the unit is good quality from a fit and finish point of view, and app performance is decent.The issue is that in the UK, many of the mainstay streaming services for on-demand TV are not available to install. No BBC iPlayer, ITV X, Channel 4, I only saw My5 available. Rather frustrating as this device runs the same Google TV Android 12+ OS as the Google Chromecast (with Google TV) streamer, even has the same CPU, GPU and RAM but for some reason the apps are just absent from the on-device app store and installing from play.google.com reveals that the apps "are not supported on this device".If you know the apps you want are installable (e.g. Netflix, Prime, AP TV+, Jellyfin, Plex) it seems decent but I purchased as a gift and if it doesn't have these UK centric services available then it's a non-starter.

Needed a replacement for a Firestick which was beginning to show its age. Looked at a replacement and read the reviews on it. So i bought one and no regrets. Basically , if you want a streaming device at a decent price , give the THOMSON a try.
