I've been a content creator for several years now and have collected a lot of equipment for various purposes. Lately, I've been making sim racing videos to post on social media and have been using multiple cameras to record myself driving. One of the most difficult angles was the pedals on the ground and I had to get a small webcam to make filming this convenient. Mounting the webcam down low was a chore until I found this amazing gooseneck mount!It arrived in a cardboard box. The cell phone mount part had to be installed to the gooseneck before first use but it didn't take long at all. Once I had it installed, I started shaping the gooseneck into the position I needed. It's actually a lot sturdier than it looks so you do have to muscle it a bit, but it will take on any shape you need and keep it.Once I had it extended, I clamped my webcam onto the cell phone mount portion, which closes in from the sides to squeeze your device in place. Once you have your device in between the clamps, it doesn't move at all! Then I found a spot on my desk where I wanted it and clamped the bottom part onto an edge. The design of having the tightening handle on the shaft is genius because other mounts have it at the bottom, which can limit where you can place it. In the picture I posted here I show it at the top of the desk, but for my setup I actually had it mounted sideways near the bottom and once it was tightened it never moved once despite having to fight gravity.Overall, I think this mount was really well thought out and you can tell it's made of quality materials. The gooseneck is so sturdy that it will bounce if you hit it but won't change positions or cause the bottom bracket to shift. If you're a content creator looking for a phone mount that's both flexible and sturdy, I highly recommend this one!

I received the UGREEN Gooseneck Phone Holder for Desk Bed on time as scheduled. It came in a simple cardboard box with the printed description of the product on one side and assembly instructions on the other side. The entire gooseneck was wrapped in styrofoam sheet for protection.The gooseneck overall appeared solid and well made. All the parts to the gooseneck felt smooth to the touch with no sharp edges to cut your fingers. The base clamp system appears heavy and robust, along with the anti-slip silicone padding that will grip onto any flat surface up to 2.4 inches with a vice-grip like feel. The 35 inch flexible gooseneck appears strong enough to hold pretty much any mobile phone or electronic device with a maximum width of 3.9 inches. The manufacturer recommends that the flexible gooseneck be be bent into a "Z" or "S" shape to provide extra strength or stability to keep the mobile phone from sagging due to weight. The phone clamp at the end of the gooseneck appears solid with some nice padding to keep everything damage-free and secured, while it's attached to a universal ball joint that allows for optimal adjustments angles for your needs.Before using, you'll need to assemble the gooseneck phone holder which is intuitively super easy as shown on the side of the box with pictures. The setup is quite simple too, just find a flat solid area like a desk, tabletop or shelf that you can place the clamp over (up to 2.4 inches) and tighten the large easy to grip tube handle. Adjust the gooseneck in a "Z' or "S" pattern or just create your own to provide stability and minimize any wobble movement. Next insert your mobile device to the phone clamp by spreading out the fully cushioned spring loaded arm, make final gooseneck adjustment to your preference and you're ready to go!I tried it over several days and so far I'm impressed! The base clamp is solid, easy to adjust and will stay tightly secured. The phone clamp has awesome adjustability in all directions, great spring tension and soft padding to protect your phone from damages. The long 35 inch gooseneck is strong and flexible, so you really can manipulate in whatever position that best fits your needs. I adjusted the gooseneck utilizing the "S' pattern as recommended by the manufacturer, so I didn't have that problem with my iPhone 14 Pro Max sagging. I did get some initial phone "bounce", but it was really minimal and unnoticeable once you get settle-in.All in all, I really love it and I would definitely recommend it! Two Thumbs Up!

Der Smartphone Halter kommt gut verpackt in einem Karton. Die Halterung für das Smartphone muss man zunächst anbringen. Das geht schnell, als auch einfach und ist detailliert auf dem Karton erklärt. Das Kabel lässt sich in alle Richtungen biegen und bleibt dann auch in der entsprechenden Position. Das Kabel hat eine gute Länge und ist nicht zu kurz. Die Verarbeitung von allem ist insgesamt sehr gut.Das Smartphone passt hervorragend in die Halterung. Dort ist es dann stabil in Position. Den Halter kann man recht weit aufziehen. Somit ist dieser universell benutzbar. Um die Halterungen unten an den Tisch anzubringen muss man ganz einfach den Verschluss aufschrauben und kann so die Dicke, entsprechend dem Tisch, einstellen. Alles hält stabil. Man kann nun praktisch am Tisch zum Beispiel einen Livestream starten. Was auch eine Möglichkeit ist, ist dass man den Halter an das Bett macht zum Serien oder Filme schauen.

In order for me to get a decent shot, I have to put a tripod on my lap. This hasn’t been very practical at all. So finding this gooseneck desk clamp phone holder has been a game changer for me. ✅WHAT I LIKE: ▪️Adjustable clamp allows attachment to a variety of table/desk thickness. ▪️The clamp screws on rather than clamps on. I think this is a better system because clamps can easily slip off, whereas this allows you to tighten it appropriately. ▪️As seen in my submitted video to Amazon, the gooseneck is extremely solid. You have to use a bit of muscle to adjust it to your liking. This is a good thing because it can handle the weight of an iPhone. ▪️I love how flexible the gooseneck is. It allows my a lot of options and solutions for placement. ▪️The clamp holds my phone securely and I don’t need to take it out of my Otterbox case, unlike some holders. ▪️Two year warranty! Can’t go wrong with that! ❌WHAT I DON’T LIKE: ▪️It doesn’t take much to cause movement. Gentle touches create a lot of movement while filming, so you have to be very delicate around it. ▪️Some parts feel like they are made of cheap plastic, and I wish the clamp screw was a bit more solid. 🦋OVERALL:This gooseneck phone holder has proven to be a wonderful addition to my filming equipment for displaying my artwork on social media. It has also come in handy for my son’s technology class where he was tasked to shoot a commercial. It makes a versatile tripod replacement because it can be so flexible. You may eventually want to upgrade over time, but if you’re in need of an affordable solution to shoot videos, this is a nice starting point.
