Standard nursery pots
As a Master Gardener, I find myself frequently dividing plants and giving them away. Very often the root systems are too large for the standard smaller nursery pots, and I need this 3 gallon size. These are nice because each one doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, most plants can stay it in for a good while, and they hold up for a couple years in the outside weather.

Decent quality. I used them for small pepper plants and they worked well.

Fit My Decorative Planter
Needed growers pots to fit several decorative planters so I could swap out fall blooming annuals for bulbs in the spring. Two gallon were too small, couldn’t find 2.5 gallon pots so ordered these 3 gallon ones. Theyare rather flimsy but it worked for me because I was able to cut off a bit at the top with a box knife to make it just the height I needed.

Just buy these bigger pots, you'll be happy you did!
I feel silly writing this review as I just gave away a bunch of pots that came with plants we bought for a landscape project. We had a good crop of Mangoes this year and my wife got the idea to sprout the seeds to see what happens. Now we have a bunch of saplings and no pots! We originally bought some small pots that seemed perfect for starting the seedlings. It didn't take long at all before they needed to be re-potted. We then ordered some gallon pots and they were much smaller than we expected, and I could tell that we'd be looking to re-pot again soon with those. We decided to go with these instead of a 2 or 2.5 gallon and we're happy we did. They are sturdier than the nursery style pots, so they will hold up longer, and they are big enough that the saplings (Mango trees in our case) will be happy in them until we are ready to plant them in the ground. I believe these will survive several re-uses, as they aren't the flimsy nursery pot plastic, they are more like the thickness of decorative pots, minus the decorative part.

Good deal for the price.
Sturdier than I thought, not a bad deal for the price.
