The clips need oiling a bit because they were a bit stiff at first. Considering the price, one can't complain really. They work.Regards the strength, well my largest dog (1 year old Doberman/German Shepherd female) hasn't managed to bite through it yet or break the connections through pulling, but she has made it into a bit of a curly wurly (see picture) on the very first use, so she still needs her muzzle. I will see how long it lasts as she is not yet fully grown and she is still in the adolescent puppy stage. However, she is amongst the breeds with the most powerful bite pressures per inch. FYI: Mastiffs and Dobermans are the most powerful, at 500-600 pounds per inch (can bite straight through a mans arm if it wants to - thank goodness they are amongst the most intelligent and good natured of dogs). The Rottweiler is next at 328 pounds per inch, then the German Shepherd and Pitbull at 235-238 pounds per inch. However, my other dog is a Whipet/Labrador cross and the other cable I bought is completely unharmed. I do think the cable is good value for the price.

So bloody angry. Tied my 7 month old staff outside with this and within 5 min clip broke dog ran got injured had to get his foot stapled together ending with high vet bill. Would definitely not recommend this

I ordered 2 and only received one. I contacted the seller who did ask me to send over my order details. But before I did the one lead that did came broke within 5 minutes of putting my dog on it. My dog is small, this lead is very weakly made. So I did not bother getting a the missing lead delivered.

Good strong lead no worries of it snapping or dogs chewing through it

It my fault should have read the description more closely. It's far too small only about 6 foot long
