Last forever
My puppy dog loves these things. She is a chewer so raw hides (even big ones) she eats so quickly. These keep her busy all day.Yes they are smelly, same as other brands. If you are super sensitive to smells hoofs are not a choice for you. They start bothering me if she really has been working on it and the whole thing is wet with slobber /doggie drool.Every day she gets a "new" one. Hand her one and pick up the day before, and rotating though pack. Replace all of them once a year or when they get small enough she might swallow. Sometimes put a little peanut butter on the inside and freeze them (takes more time to lick off than fresh). Keeps her teeth clean, and gives her something to do while gone.

Long lasting, low odor
These hooves are great! Most chews last my dog about 15-20 minutes if I'm lucky, but he's been going at this for almost two hours now and there's still plenty to go. There really is very little odor overall unless you get pretty close to it. (Like when you well meaning pooch offers to share his chew by lovingly dropping the slobbered mess right in your lap) Considering how long these seem to last, you can't beat the price.I would advise following the instructions on the package and only give with supervision. As with any chew, a piece, or for larger dogs the whole thing, can become lodged in the throat. So even though this is a great occupier, it's not for tossing to your dog as you leave for work.

I'll find them like a couple weeks later stuck in between something and ...
Okay so I'm very bittersweet about this product. My dog LOVES them. And they last so so long. He normally loses them way before he finishes them. Haha. I'll find them like a couple weeks later stuck in between something and laugh. However, I don't know if it's just my dog or because they are cow hooves (I've never bought cow hooves before. I've bought bones and such at petsmart. Just never cow hooves. These were on sale so that's why I bought them) but there is just this certain smell whenever he starts chewing on them for a while. It's not particular bad. But not good at the same time. Its not super overwhelming. Like you can't be in another room and smell it. I normally only smell it when he happens to be pretr close to me and you get used to it after a while. Also don't let your dog chew this on the couch or your bed or anything. It leaves behind like little shavings I guess and defiantly leaves the surface messy. It washes right off and doesn't stain. Just slightly inconvenient and annoying.Overall, I know my pupper loves them so I'll continue to give it to him! Just thought I would share!

Great for our strong chewer
My dog is loving these! I have a strong chewer with a sensitive tummy to rawhide and other chews. Ever since we have been unable to find our go-to “digesteeze” bones, these have been our dog’s favorite. They last several days for him, and even though they smell terrible when he chews them, we can deal with it since they last so well. Our dog seems to love the flavor of them and enjoys the smaller size since he is a medium sized dog (~30 lbs). I highly recommend these!

Great Durability and Quality
I bought this product on a lightning deal, and I am very impressed with the quality and durability. My dog is definitely a "power chewer," and she has destroyed many toys within the first ten minutes of having them. I'm always looking for products that will last, and I was very impressed with these cow hooves. So far, she has been chewing on one hoof for approximately 2 months. She chews on it every night before bed, and while it's definitely worn down some, she isn't anywhere close to needing a new one. I'm highly impressed and will continue to purchase, although I probably won't need to for quite a while.

Our Dogs Love These
This is the first time we've ever given our dogs cow hooves. They absolutely love them! One of our two dogs can't handle most chew toys like rawhide because he just breaks off giant chunks and swallows them whole. The other dog just hasn't ever enjoyed them. Both dogs took a few minutes just sniffing their new cow hooves and I was afraid they didn't like them. I think it was just that the experience was new, because they have now spent the rest of the day chewing on them! The one who swallows dangerous chunks can't break anything off, and the one who hasn't enjoyed chew toys doesn't want to stop chewing hers. These are definitely winners.

So Much Fun !!!!
HiThis review should probably be one with split stars. Our lab gave it the 5 stars above. He though the first one we gave him was a wonderful thing. He chomped on it for what seemed like an hour or two. That's pretty good for a lab with something like this. Now to the "con" part of the review. Last night he returned it to us piece by piece. That happened about every two hours all night long. Indeed, it could have been something else that got him going. Lab's tend to find all sorts of interesting things to chow down on. I do know that there was a lot of hoof in each "presentation" ....Dogs are so much fun sometimes !!!!!I think we'll wait a few days and see if the next one has the same effect.

Hooves review
So I got these for my dog with the hopes that she would A. enjoy them, and B. not loose them. She typically throws whatever she is chewing on, more often than not getting it stuck under furniture (Most often, the heavy couch in my apartment...crazy dog). Sadly, she attacks these chews like they're made of Crack and she throws them around. So far, with just 3 treats, she's smacked my TV, me in the face, and a bowl of noodles I had made. So, she enjoys them, and it is funny to watch her attack them, but it's not fun being a target.Would I buy them again? For sure. I just need some face protection first.
