Review: This mounting plate does not fit my metal OnQ enclosure installed by the builder. - Let's start by saying the overall result is excellent. As mentioned in my headline, I originally purchased these mounting plates to go in my existing (metal) Legrand On Q enclosure installed when the house was built in 2016. I was sadly surprised to find them 100% incompatible! Anyway, I decided to stay with the Legrand Brand and replaced the enclosure with a 30 inch version from my local (Blue) home improvement center. Note: The 30" enclosure does not fit Qty 3 of these 10" mounting plates. Only Qty 2 of the 10" and Qty 1 of the 5" raised plate. That actually worked out better because the raised 5" plate was able to pass cables underneath it to other components lower down in the cabinet. In hindsight I should have gotten the 42" cabinet because I realize now it would've been nice have room for future growth and to have added the Ring home alarm system module inside the cabinet. I did manage to include a home network video recorder (NVR) for the Qty 8 POE cameras I installed a few years back. Anyway, I very please with the final result. Get yourself some Velcro straps because the red clamps have limited attachment points on the mounting plate, especially if you want to mount them underneath a component. That's why mine are seen mounted on the sides. They do hold the weight of the components very well. The heaviest piece is the NVR and I imagine that's at least 3-4 pounds. Excellent product overall! 5stars Review: Work great! - Works well, and fits perfect. Pricey but acceptable. ## Features - UNIVERSAL DEVICE COMPATIBILITY: Easily secure wired and wireless devices within the structured wiring enclosure, accommodating 3rd party modules for maximum versatility. - VERSATILE MOUNTING OPTIONS: Mount devices horizontally or vertically in both plastic and metal enclosures; includes adapters for use with metal enclosures in the grommet pack. - SECURE INSTALLATION: Strategically placed screw holes ensure devices are firmly affixed within the enclosure. - ALL-INCLUSIVE ACCESSORIES: Includes (4) plungers and grommets, (2) keyhole posts, (2) ratchet clamps, (2) metal enclosure adapters, and instructions accessible via QR code. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CRBDP879 | | Best Sellers Rank | #8,471 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #30 in Audio & Video Distribution Wall Plates | | Brand | On-Q | | Brand Name | On-Q | | Color | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 142 Reviews | | Included Components | (2) Keyhole posts, (2) Metal enclosure adapters, (2) Rachet Clamps, (4) Plungers and Grommets, Mounting Plate, QR Code Instructions | | Item Dimensions | 10 x 13.9 x 0.39 inches | | Item Type Name | Plastic Universal Mounting Plate | | Item Weight | 9.44 ounces | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 10 x 13.9 x 0.39 inches | | Manufacturer | Legrand On-Q | | Manufacturer Part Number | AC1040F | | Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | | Material Type | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | | Model Number | AC1040F | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Set Name | AC1040F Accessory Set | | Style | Industrial | | Style Name | Industrial | | UPC | 804428435143 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** On-Q - **Color:** White - **Item Weight:** 9.44 ounces - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 10 x 13.9 x 0.39 inches - **Material:** Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **Set Name:** AC1040F Accessory Set - **Style:** Industrial - **UPC:** 804428435143 ## Images ![On-Q/Legrand AC1040F Universal Mounting Plate - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71GD5KY09EL.jpg) ![On-Q/Legrand AC1040F Universal Mounting Plate - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81mDKweeU-L.jpg) ![On-Q/Legrand AC1040F Universal Mounting Plate - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81hR6Dj92nL.jpg) ![On-Q/Legrand AC1040F Universal Mounting Plate - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71RrZDPUiGL.jpg) ![On-Q/Legrand AC1040F Universal Mounting Plate - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71g-T8wkaKL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This mounting plate does not fit my metal OnQ enclosure installed by the builder. *by O***. on June 22, 2024* Let's start by saying the overall result is excellent. Pricey but acceptable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for adding more mounting points in the legrand plastic enclosure. *by K***B on October 14, 2025* Works as needed, quick to install in my legrand media enclosure, the push clips secure it and don't feel like they will pull out, also using the turn tabs to hold a 12lb backup battery and it's not going anywhere. Was well worth the money to add to my enclosure. I don't use pressure mounts, but they feel solid for lighter & smaller devices. ## Frequently Bought Together - Legrand - OnQ Universal Mounting Plate 10 Inch, Secure Devices in Structured Media Enclosure Mounting Plate, Mounting Plate with 2 Rachet Clamps, Recessed Wall Plate to Organize Cable, White, AC1040F - On-Q AC1060 Shelf Mounting Bracket, White - On-Q AC1050-EMK Mounting Plate, White/Red --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/614187796-on-q-legrand-ac1040f-universal-mounting-plate](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/614187796-on-q-legrand-ac1040f-universal-mounting-plate) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
