Vintage Women 1940s Bow Tie Neck Dress Retro 40s 50s Button Up Business Work A-line Cocktail Dresses

Love the cloth and style of this fitted 50's dress. It fits well and is decorative. The light blue with the navy is quite attractive.

Ordered the green dress for stage performance in show with 1930’s theme. The style worked well except dress was a little shorter than I had expected it to for portraying the era. Not a lot of hem for lengthening. I originally ordered a medium, my normal size, but returned that and went with the large which felt better overall. I did receive compliments from our costumer on choice of style and color.

This was perfect for my daughter’s school play fit well and she received several compliments!

The size of the dress fits me snuggly, except around the neck. It seems like a neck size for a much larger dress, so the bow hangs down. A bit unsightly and nothing I can do about it really, unless I removed the neck, shortened the strip and sewed it back in. Cute dress, and lots of compliments. It is a bit itchy though—rough polyester.

Not accurate in sizing- too small

I have a long torso. Consider that when ordering. I am 5’7” and ordered a large. Would’ve preferred the dress waistband to sit a bit lower. I liked the dress even still. It’s lightweight and quite comfortable.

Ordered a size Medium (wear size 8 or 10 dress) to be worn in a stage production for the 1940s. Dress was light-weight, easy on and off, well constructed, unlined...yet not see through, and loved the two color combination.
