Scrap Metal 23316L Surgical Steel Captive Bead Ring CBR 10g

It was exactly what we wanted, expected, and was described. It arrived within the predicted shipping window however that was between 4 and 5 days which is a bit longer than I am used to waiting when ordering from Amazon however this was the only captive ring I could find that was an inch.

I got .31 inches or about 7mm and change. It’s so tiny and the ball is very secure, can’t even spin it while it’s in the ring. Only complaint is I need opening pliers to remove the ball and I did not have any. That was my next order so that was my bad. I like these rings so much I’m going to get more.EDIT: I finally got in the opening pliers and wow small rings need a some force to open and close. I still love the size and will get more but if you use these on sensitive body part make sure you have room for everything to fit without pinching or cramming.

Exactly what I was looking for

I didn't know what diameter I wanted, so I ordered the largest one and it turned out to be a bit too large. Next time, I will try a smaller size. The ring itself though is great for the price! I love that there's a variety of sizes you can choose from because there's not a lot of nice jewelry options for a 10G septum. The bead is a pain to get in, especially with such a large gauge, but it looks great once you do. This is the best quality captive bead ring, with the most size options you'll get for such a cheap price.

Received early and I was amazed at how nice these were when I opened them. Sure they are tough to pop the ball out and put back in but once in I don't need to worry about losing my jewelry. As for the sizing people complain about, YOU CHOOSE YOUR SIZE!!! If you order 1 inch expect a very large piece of jewelry! Don't blame the company they don't know what you're ordering it for!! I LOVE this! It's so tiny! I wanted to change out my septum jewelry from a retainer to a captive ring, and I wanted something extremely small and close to my nose. I was having trouble finding anything that had the diameter I was looking for, until I found this. Great price, lovely quality, really easy to insert with ring-pliers (otherwise it's too small and tight to pop the ball out). I would definitely buy more of these if I needed any more.

The captive bead is easy enough to snap in an out, and depending on your application, the sizing and gauging of this ring work well too. Surgical steel seems to be the way to go in terms of hygiene and durability. This ring holds it's shape well after repeatedly taking the ball out and replacing it.

It would be alright however the metal ring isn't symmetrical, I got the 10g but I guess the only way I can explain it is that it has a bulge in the ring so it's not a perfect 10g all the way around
