Excellent
I bought this as I needed to cut a pain of glass in migration House so that it would fit, this worked perfectly and I’ve never used a Glass cutter before. Would recommend it.

It’s as good as the hands using it.
I get the idea this is professional quality. However, you will not get a pro finish with a pro tool in amateur’s hands. Given your skill levels, this will deliver as good as you’ll get. As an infant I watched a time-served glazier scribe a circle in plain glass and tap the under side with the cutter (it’s weighted to do this) to make a replacement lens for a bicycle lamp. He charged the customer a tanner (6d old pence). Dream on if you think you’re to achieve this standard because you’ve got a good cutter in your hand. For me results are the not only the quality of the scribe but the firm assertive touch of the snap along the line which comes with experience. I started cutting bevel edged mirror tiles on the back (because it’s flat) and had moderate success but the rate of attrition increased after a few bad breaks and confidence ebbed away. If you can’t afford too many bad cuts and you’re doing a lot of cuts buy a wet wheel cutter machine (I paid about £45) with a thin Glass Cutting 110mm disc for about £15. Compare this with what you paid for the tiles! If your not cutting glass the disc that comes with the machine will see you through. It doesn’t matter if the machine is all plastic if you’re not planning to earn your living with it.

Easy
I had a large pane of glass to get rid of ,with this glass cutter I was able to cut it into smaller pieces, it was so easy to do I wish I had bought it earlier.
