If it doesn’t spin when you pull trigger then it’s faulty. Finding the spindle lock hole is tricky as it moves away from the hole. It’s done a great job overall. The only issue I’ve had was one screw working loose that holds the orbital head on — took about three days to back out. A little Loctite fixed it right up and it’s been solid since. Be sure to stock up on sandpaper — the small discs don’t last long, especially if you’re cutting through several coats of old paint like I was (this crown had about four). They also make foam pads that really help with curved surfaces. Overall, a well-made tool that’s held up nicely.
