Case easily flips from right hand to left hand
I was hesitant to try this case, because I wanted a handsfree case that flips easily. I was pleasantly surprised that the case flips easily both in your hand and as a stand. It is very lightweight, which make me think it might not last as long as the Oasis hopefully does. Overall I would purchase this case/stand again.

The wake/sleep doesn’t work and there is no magnet to keep it flat when opem
What’s good: VERY thin and VERY light. Feels good in the hand, the material isn’t leather and doesn’t pretend to be, but it feels good to hold all the same. Unlike other “origami” style covers it props either way... so if you read on your side and like to change sides it works well. What’s bad: magnets... the sleep/wake function doesn’t work, at least not with the latest gen (someone commented it did work on the previous gen). It would be much better if there was a Magnet to hold it open when it’s folded back to read. There isn’t, so the cover flaps around a bit. It does seem a bit flimsy, the trade off I suspect for it being so light.***Update on the magnets 11/13/2020: as I have used the cover over the last couple of weeks I have come to like that there is no magnet that attaches it to the back when open...here is why. Because it doesn’t fix firmly to the back, it does flap around BUT that enables you to position the folded part as far away from the back as you like to adjust the viewing angle. I don’t know if this was the intention, but it works well that way and a magnet that kept it attached to the back would prevent that. If you want it to fix firmly to the back when open, then my original comment still holds but I have found this to be an advantage for reading on my side in bed. Still would like the sleep/to work although it isn’t a huge deal.Overall... not bad. Not sorry I purchased it and if you want REALLY thin and light and the magnet things don’t worry you, I would say buy and you will probably be happy enough.

Waterproof... but removing case to dry out Oasis significantly weakens case fairly quickly
If you expect to get your Oasis wet frequently… this is not the case for you. Otherwise, it has many advantages.Pros:- Very light- My favorite form factor in a case because you can prop it up on all sides so….- This case makes it easy to read lying on your side. Either side.- Case is waterproof and dries off looking clean- Aesthetically looks and feels better than I expected from the pictures- Grippy without feeling (or smelling) like a rubber band. (From some descriptions, I worried about this.)Cons:- You shouldn’t plan on removing this case at all. It is rather brittle. I probably removed it (carefully) 5-6 times, and small cracks were developing within a month.- You need to remove the case if you get the Oasis wet or water will get trapped between the back of the Oasis and the case. So only get this case if you don’t plan on getting it wet.- Leans slightly to one side in portrait mode, though you can still read It isn’t level on a flat surface.- Level of protection is light to medium at best. (But heavier protection will also be heavier in weight.)Details:I had a similar form-factor for a Voyage case, and it was my favorite because you can prop it open on any side (I like to read lying on my side and switch sides, and this specific origami case shape is best for that of all I've tried.) So I was quite keen to have a similar case for my new Oasis, and this was basically the only option that would ship in a reasonable time frame. In truth, I didn’t like how it looked much from the picture, but it actually did look and feel much better than I expected. Even so... the form factor doesn't translate as well to the Oasis. The biggest problem is that if you get it wet, you will need to remove the case so water doesn’t get trapped between the back of the Oasis and the case. And because the plastic is very stiff and brittle, removing it with any frequency puts too much stress on the tightly-fitting plastic of the case. After removing it and replacing it maybe 5-6 times, I could feel cracks along the edges of the case – it was both good news and bad that this happened within the return window. My voyage cases were similarly tight-fitting brittle plastic, but they still lasted a year or two because I never took them off (their point of failure tended to become critical when the magnets fell out, that was the weakest point for those cases)So even though this case is water-proof, it isn’t a case you should remove at all if you wish it to last a reasonable amount of time. Since being able to use this in a tub was one of the main reasons for buying an Oasis, this is a deal-breaker for me… but may not be for you.The other problem is the Oasis form factor isn’t great with origami cases in general. Because the Oasis is thicker on one side than the other, in portrait mode, this case (and likely any origami case) leans slightly to one side. The effect is slight; you can still read. If that is likely to bug you… get a stand for portrait or get a non-origami case. This case at least does let you read on your sides with no problems, as long as you don’t mind the buttons being on the bottom. (I can’t see any way to read an Oasis on your side with any case or stand that does not similarly place the buttons on the “wrong” side as putting it the other way makes the Oasis rather top heavy. Again, that is really a problem with the Oasis design, not the cases per se.)None of the other cons of this case were deal-breakers for me. In actuality, I only used it in the tub once, the other times I removed the case because I was trying other cases. I planned on keeping this one almost immediately but wanted a backup case, so I went back and forth trying candidates for the backup and this one. And then the cracks showed up….There are other cases that had a smooth, silicon-esque back with just the right degree of elasticity and are thus much easier to take on and off. If I could have the lightness and form-factor of this case with that back, I would be much closer to a case I really like for the Oasis 2. It isn’t perfect, but if the cracks hadn’t shown up, this would be my case of choice. I rather reluctantly settled on a different case, which, when I find one I really like, will probably be demoted to backup case.I give this 3 stars because for some people, this case will be a great choice. Just not for me.

Light weight
Works just as stated. Good reading angle and light weight

Great case, slim, does not fold flat.
This is the best case I’ve found for the oasis so far. It’s very slim and the physical dimensions are great. However, the fold in the top cover does not match up with the bulge at the back, so it doesn’t lay flat when open. It would be perfect if it did.

Fragile
I have only used it for a few months. The plastic cover broke into tiny pieces already without dropping on the floor or hitting hard on the desk.
