Screws stripped as soon as there was any resistance.

Sturdy and simple
These are great quality e-track "rails" and tie-downs. I verified both are interoperable with my other e-track hardware. Mounting is simple, being a few screw-holes. I used mine in a trailer, and just mounted it directly to the wood. The metal is thick all around, and the weld-point seem quite solid.

Easy install
The hardest part about this for me was finding the right size 6 point star bit. Once that was accomplished I changed out the original plates for these and then inserted the tie downs. Very simple process.2 small things.... these are not rounded on the corners like the original plates. No big deal for me, just pointing it out. And these can be put on upside down. The holes are not equally spaced so check them before you tighten them down and have to take one off and flip it around like I did.The only thing I did differently from the instructions was that I reused the original bolts instead of the ones that came with this product.
