RM Series Replacement Remote Control for HUMAX DTR-T2000

I made this purchase to tide me over whilst a remote control from Humax is delivered.The build quality is okay for cheap plastic but the buttons do have lag on pressing.It'll see me through for a couple of days and then will be kept in a drawer as a spare.

Not fully compatible to work the tv functions, does does all functions of the pvr box.Lot cheaper than the original Humax remote.

I ordered this replacement remote for my Humax T2000 PVR, because the remote that came with it suddenly became unresponsive, driving me mad refusing to respond to a growing number of its buttons. The PVR was less than two years old and I did expect better from its remote. A replacement for the original was nearly £30, which I thought was very expensive, particularly given that I couldn't rely on it to last more than 18 months.I ordered a replacement from another seller, but when it arrived the pause button did not work - very irritating. I alerted the seller, who sent a replacement straight away, but when it came the pause button didn't work on that one either! Arrghghghhhh!!Properly annoyed now, I shopped around a bit more, and found this one. Buttons are quite spongy and at first not massively responsive but got better quickly as I used them, and hurray, hurray, the pause button works!! The item arrived quickly and was well packaged and I am very very pleased to be able to operate my PVR again. It takes a while to get used to where the buttons are, but yes! They actually work!! Very very happy now.

Previous model worked OK for about three years, so for the price I'll be happy with this one.

Bought this as the buttons on the original Humax controller stop working after a while, and wanted something that would last a bit longer.It seems to be working fine so far although buttons can be a bit sticky and they are quite small to try and use.Controller itself is not very attractive, and quite cheap looking.Personally, I think I will probably end up buying another Humax controller in the end as the look of this one just does not appeal.It is cheaper though, and hopefully more reliable, so if you are not bothered by how something looks then it is probably worth giving it a go.

The function buttons had started failing on my original Humax remote and so I was about to order a Humax replacement. When I read reviews it seems that this was a common problem with the Humax one and so I changed my mind. The RM-Series remote had appeared as a compatible alternative when I searched on Amazon. It was about half the price so I thought it was worth trying. I'm pleased with my purchase. I unpacked it, put in the batteries and it worked immediately - no setting up involved, and I'm able to use all of the functions once again. The arrangement of the function buttons are different to the original, which takes a little getting used to, but they work, which is all I want!

The product seems OK at the moment and is working fine, ask me in 12 months months time, seeing as the the original remote that came with the product was very poor and did not last very long. Update, it only lasted a year. the buttons lost their response, but got another one for Humax free view model.

An excellent remote control, far superior to the official Humax supplied item. I have two Humaxs` & in just over two years I have had four Humax remote controls, they become very unreliable surprisingly quickly. At first I blamed the actual Humax unit I realised that the problem lay elsewhere. If you research further on line there have been numerous concerns about the official remote controls & I don`t know why Humax doesn`t get a grip on the problem & sort it out-they must know about it.These replacement handsets are first class & I thoroughly recommend them & they are delivered very quickly.
