There's an area in our master bedroom that is too dark to easily see the clothes in the dresser. I took a lamp from behind our reading chair to give the area at least a little light, but it wasn't quite enough, plus now we're missing the reading light.I've been looking for a bright light for the nook, and saw this one. It seemed to meet our needs, so I ordered it. To my delight, it lights the area up so well that I can finally see the contents of the dresser without a flashlight!It took seconds to slide off the plastic protecting the tubes, then another minute or two to screw them all together and plug it in. Add two AAA batteries to the remote and you're in business. You can use the remote, or the buttons on the lamp itself, or plug it in to a smart plug and then you can use Alexa, or similar, to control it. The base is fairly heavy, so it won't easily tip over.In the third picture, you can see the dresser quite well; normally in the daytime that area is dark enough that you don't see the dresser as easily; but the real difference is when I open the drawers; I can actually see the clothes! I tried to take before and after pictures inside the drawers, but with the lights off my camera automatically uses the flash, so I was unable to get a picture showing the dark drawers. In the last two pictures, I showed the difference between my old lamp and this new lamp; the old lamp is adequate for reading, but not bright enough to light up that area.I love that I can set it at it's brightest for my specific needs, or you can dim it and change it to a softer, warmer color if that's your preference. It has a timer so you can set it to turn off automatically, if desired. Or, you can just tell Alexa to turn it on, off, dim, brighter, etc.It's a modern design, but I think it'll work pretty much in any decor as it's a minimal light with no particular theme. It's also adjustable, so you can turn it to point up at the ceiling, or lower, as needed.Overall, I love this light; it fits our needs wonderfully and is at a good price point for the function and quality.

It adds a cozy feel to my living room without being intrusive, especially when I'm watching TV. The base has enough weight as it's sturdy enough to keep the whole lamp upright without any worries. Plus, the cords are long enough to reach any outlet in the room, no need for extension cords.Now, let's talk about the light! This thing is super bright – a huge upgrade from my old floor lamp. But the best part is that it's not just bright, it's also dimmable and changes color temperature! I can easily adjust it to match whatever I'm doing, whether it's reading a book, relaxing on the couch, or just needing a soft nightlight. And the color accuracy in warm light settings is fantastic – everything in the room looks natural.Both the lamp itself and the remote control have buttons to operate the light. The controls are super intuitive, even my kids can figure them out. There's also a memory function, so it remembers my favorite settings – a small detail that makes a big difference.The only real downside is that the light source isn't user-replaceable. If the LEDs go out, I'd have to replace the whole lamp. But hey, most LED lamps are like that these days. The other thing is the price – it's a little steeper than I was expecting, coming in at over $80.Overall, though, I'm really impressed with this lamp. It's functional, and the dimming and color options are fantastic. Plus, the ability to integrate it with a smart plug and control it with my voice is a major bonus! While the price might give you pause, the quality build and features make it a solid choice, especially if you're looking for a versatile and modern floor lamp.

This light is fantastic. One of the big things that I like about this lamp is that there is no light shining out the side of the lamp like you would have with a lamp shade, so I can have fully diffuse ambient lighting in my office, without it creating a glare on my various screens. I also love that it has fully adjustable dimming in addition to step dimming. To dim the lamp in steps, you can tap the dim/brightness buttons up and down. To steadily dim the lamp, press and hold the dim/brightness buttons and it will slowly dim until it reaches your preferred dimness.I also like that the lamp fits in the corner of my room, has a small footprint and does not take up much space, it's stable (zero issues with wobbling), it has warm coloring in addition to the colder blue white, the cord easily reaches my outlet (it's plenty long), it has a timer function, a remote, and the light tilts making it easy to direct the light anywhere in between the ceiling or 90 degrees towards the wall.The lamp has controls on its pole, so you can adjust it directly from the lamp or via the remote, which is really convenient. I like being able to change the lamp's brightness from my chair as the day goes on and my room gets lighter or darker with the sun moving. The remote is also magnetized so it will attach to the light if you want to keep it from getting lost. The lamp was easy to put together and I had it done in less than 5 minutes.
