The Navajo code talker for children is an excellent introduction to both the code talkers in WWII and to the unfortunate manner Anglos treated the Navajo and other native peoples. Mr. Nez's autobiography is excellent for teens and adults to read. I highly recommend both books.

Purchased for my 7 yr old grandson as I thought he’d enjoy knowing this bit of American history.We also found the Code Talker GI Joe to go with it (sorry, not through Amazon).Kid loved it.

Excellent illustrations & interesting read for my son especially for our study of Native American history. My only complaint is that the pages & sections are more of a choppy timeline without a cohesive feel.

My 8 year old loved this. It's well written and the message is great.
