I have used this on many repairs. I have used it with my mechanical Torq Wrench and this unit is right on the mark. A couple jobs required a spec lower than my wrench can go and I was able to use this with the 1/4 adapter to get the perfect tightness without stripping threads.

I had many manual torque wrenches, but they were likely out of calibration. Hence, I bought this to calibrate the torque wrenches. Then I found out it was much easier to use this torque wrench adapter with a regular wrench (without a torque wrench)- especially love the ability to save multiple torque values in memory. It also has peak mode and track mode which most of them seem to have, and peak mode is more useful than those manual torque wrenches.

I found it easy to switch from nM to ft. to in.-lbs of torque. So that is nice. The beep is not harsh and is at a nice volume. I'm not sure what could be done about it, but my only grip is that it is big. Not the unit itself, but when you attach your ratchet, then this unit, then the socket to the unit, that doesn't leave a lot of room. For example, I'm not sure this could be used to torque the water pump bolts without taking out the fan and radiator. Header bolts no way. Head and intake bolts no issue. If your engine is on a stand then sure. Love the idea of it, not sure how many places it could really be used. But in those places were it can be used, it works well.

I completed a brake job and used a torque wrench from the local auto parts store. When I torqued the lug nuts it seemed like the wrench clicked too soon and that the lug nuts might be under torqued. The wrench looked well used and since it is used as a gauge I was concerned that it might be way out of calibration. I decided to buy this digital torque adapter. Sure enough, when I retorqued the lug nuts I found that they had only been torqued to between 55 and 60 ft lbs. The spec was 83 ft lbs. Potentially a very dangerous situation. I really like the digital readout and the audible and visual alerts when the preset torque is achieved. I also like that I know that it is accurate in the low, mid and upper ranges. Most of all I know that I won't abuse it like the loaner wrench/gauge I had tried to use from the auto parts store.

Excelente. Ya lo estoy usando. Sumamente preciso, con datos repetibles. Se lo nota pesado y robusto. No lo uso hasta los 200 Nm porque todo lo que hago es con torques inferiores a 30 Nm. Muy recomendable y en 6 dias lo tuve en mi casa en el interior de la Argentina.

This torque adapter works well. It helped me identify a bad torque wrench in my inventory, and verify the correct operation of the remaining wrenches. i have only used it one day. It appears to be well made and comes in a plastic case. I will buy from this company again.

Works as described. It’s a little bulky and can get in the way with tight spaces

Very good quality item, I tested it against my brand new torque wrench and the calibration is absolutely perfect! Very happy with purchase, turns any ratchet into a torque wrench.
