This little kettle did not disappoint!I somehow thought it would be bigger, but honestly, ti holds more than enough water, as that takes long enough to heat up using an electric glass top stove. Would possibly heat up faster on a flame.I love the look of it though! It looks like it was carved from a massive pebble, and some driftwood was shaped into a handle and somehow shoved into it.It's very muted and understated, while still looking very stylish and pleasing to the eye.It's easy to use and pick up, and the whistle is not too loud for my sensitive ears.I really like it!I got this kind of kettle because i was sick of having electric kettles dying on me, (previous one I got, the power button on it died, so I had to put a weight on the lever to keep it down in order for it to boil) so I got one of these.There's nothing much that can go wrong with this one!All it has to do is hold water and flip it's spout lid! That's it!Really cute little kettle!I can recommend!

The kettle is a nice looking and functional. The whistle is loud and clear and can be locked out of the way for pouring. The capacity is enough for two people wanting a hot beverage while keeping the overall weight manageable. The lid fits snugly enough so that I am not getting steam coming up out of the top when pouring.Things to be aware of:1. Although the product description says that it will work on an induction surface, the base will not hold the magnetic tester (basically a refrigerator magnet) that came with my induction stove. This means it will not work with induction cookers.2. The kettle is listed as 2.2 quart capacity. 2 quarts of water will fill to the internal base of the spout. If you put in more than that you'll have water coming out the whistle/spout when it comes to a boil.3. The lid opening is 4 inches across and the handle does not lower so someone with large hands may have a problem cleaning/drying the interior of the kettle.

Like the design & colors & ease of use

I spoke incorrectly- this item does work on my induction stove! I said it didn’t but it was user error not product defect or advertised incorrectly. It is a beautiful item that looks very nice in my kitchen
