Car Screen Wireless Apple CarPlay - Portable Android Auto Car Stereo - 9 Inch IPS Display Bluetooth AirPlay Navigation

I put this in a 2005 CRV using wireless and the CarPlay connection is a huge jump in information and convenience. The nine inch display for navigation is amazing and includes options to show traffic and satellite view (it is fascinating what we drive past and never see but beware of distraction). Oddly it displays your car position in center screen with no route but with a planned route it shows you at the right third of the screen. It may be moving the route to make extra space for turn and status at the upper and lower left of the screen. I was using the Google Maps app and that may be part of how this displays. If you have a Bluetooth vehicle you can control volume from the radio, otherwise you need to go back to Car Home.The screen itself is shiny glass that reflects everything very clearly. I would have preferred a non-reflective matte glass finish. The suction cup mount has an extendable rod that let me get the screen back from the windshield enough to hang down over the dash to block less view over the hood. The mount has an upper and lower connection to the screen unit that gives you further positioning options. There are also mount options to attach to the dash, console, or elsewhere for additional location flexibility. There is a long cable to connect to 12V or 24V aux power and there is a longer cable included so you can wire to a rear view camera (not included) for safer parking. The USB-A connector supplies power and wired connection to the phone so you can maintain a charge especially if you are navigating with traffic and satellite view options active as they pull a lot of data and power.I configured to synchronize with the phone so all phone numbers and recent map search locations were at hand right away. I haven't even begun trying the music, micro SD, Aux output, FM transmitter, and other options and this SOUNDKITS Apple Android Navigation Stereo Display has easily proven its value updating an older vehicle without wiring hassles.

Super impressed with this 9 inch Carplay/Auto do it all screen! What is super amazing too is the mounting options! I was able to use the included extendable mount to perfectly place the screen where it needed to be and it is a feat in engineering. Since my dash is super curved, I was concerned that the suction cup would not work but first pull of the lever after removing the protective sheet and it has stuck like glue! Due the extended length being at its max, I did put a piece of black packing foam under the arm close to the screen and that keeps it from bouncing and vibrating and you cannot see it at all. Everything about the hardware is very impressive. Now to the two items that took a star off. 1) It takes two to three attempts to log into Android Auto upon starting the car. This is annoying and I was hopeful it would go away after several successful log ins but it is still cycling through failed attempts but eventually does engage. 2) Android screen mirroring to watch youtube, Netflix etc. is very glitchy and would sometimes not show an image but will have sound. For 95% of my use, which will be driving with Android Auto on, it is fabulous, once logged in. Screen and image quality are also excellent. This is a solid product that hopefully will have some software updates to fix the two issues mentioned.

Installing the carplay unit is pretty straightforward. I only needed to use the cigarette lighter for power, and the backup lights power on my car to activate the rear camera I purchased separately for it.Setup is actually not too complicated. I used Android, not an ios phone to integrate with it. My main use is as a backup visual guide and to play mpg music, so for me, that was super easy to do.The touchscreen is easy to use, and screen brightness is good. It also has a dim setting for night so my cabin isn't flooded with light.There are some nice features I like, such as the ability to use this as an fm transmitter when a car doesn't have bluetooth connectivity. Just set the device to a dead area on the fm dial, and tune your car fm radio to the same spot.It's a basic model- not super fancy, but it works well, has a fairly large bright screen, and is easy to navigate. If you are looking for something that isn't complicated, yet has some decent features, this is a model to consider.

We use this 9-inch IPS Display in our older RV. It works great. There is no issue with installing and using it. We might add a matt display film to the viewing surface because the display is shiny and reflective.We use a Samsung cell phone with this display. Given that this display is connected to an Android cell phone, we can view several apps on this display, but for now, we use this display only for road trip navigation.It is an excellent addition to an older vehicle that does not have built-in displays.

This unit is perfect for those that has no experience or does not feel comfortable installing an aftermarket head unit. While the features are limited to only Android Auto and Apple Car Play, the unit works quite well and connects to my phone very quickly (under 5 seconds). The 9" screen is large and bright. While it's not the sharpest screen, at only 600p (not quite HD), it is good enough at this price point and navigation and text still looks clear.The setup is very straightforward if you ever installed a phone mount. The kit included all of the necessary parts to mount the unit to your dash or windshield. My only complain I have with this unit is the lack of USB-C port for power. It still uses the dated barrel jack, which requires you to use the provided car adapter.
