They really enjoyed this as a gift. Said everything taste amazing flavor wise and was fresh.

Original and Cowboy Peppered are sweet. Really put off. I am just going for savory myself. The original has great texture though. Cowboy Peppered is cut much more thick, and isn't as dry. It's also sticky. Sad. I am looking for rip and chew specifically. Seems I will keep searching.The Old Fashioned Original has okay taste. Has a weird fatty after taste though. Not a huge fan, but will at least finish this bag.The Sea Salt and Pepper sticks are great. A LOT of pepper, so be weary. I like them though. Packed with flavor.Overall, still looking for a brand that is leather-like with no sweet flavor at all. Will not purchase again.

Peppered Jerky was too sweet and had pieces of silver skin on them... That was rather annoying to eat...Original was also sweet AND vinegary and super thin... Honestly there was more marinade than meat.I actually enjoyed beef sticks the most to my honest surprise.

I ordered the Simple and Savory box to try out People's Choice's products. The Old Fashioned Original Jerky was exactly what I hoped for... a nicely seasoned salty dried beef snack. The Sea Salt and Black Pepper beef sticks were great, too. I gave away the Cowboy Peppered and Classic jerky because it was incredibly sweet for my taste - more like a meat-flavored candy than a jerky. (That's a problem I have with a lot of commercial jerky - too much sugar.) I would definitely order the two varieties I liked again. I felt that the meat was of good quality, seasoned nicely, and tasty. I'm only taking off one star for the two sugary varieties, since I don't really see it as People's Choice's fault that I didn't like them. A coworker who likes sweeter jerky said it was great.

A couple disclaimers- I do not particularly like jerky. Specifically, I cannot recall a time (this purchase excluded) where I wasn’t saying something like, “this is gross”. My boyfriend however buys jerky constantly. I bought this as a gift for him.Now for the actual review. This jerky was a huge hit with my boyfriend and now is his favorite. In his words, “best jerky I’ve had. Let’s get more”. I also tried it and I love it!!! Additional bonus points from me because the Package arrived on time (I personally love it when things arrive as promised or before). Working on placing our second order for this month!! Great product. Excellent customer service.
