We have a beach vacation planned for this summer, so I ordered this in advance for my grandkids to use when playing in and around tide pools. It is a plastic "fish bowl" with lid and handle so they can place small shells and critters inside and study them before releasing them back into the ocean. In prior years, we've taken buckets of water with various shells and sand back to the beach house, only to discover that some shells have crabs and other sea life inside them. Those things are so fun to watch and learn about, and this clear plastic container is going to make it much more fun (and humane?) Now for summer to just come...

The round shape and crystal clear PVC material make it look like a real fish bowl! The handle is a padded foam roller with heavy rope running through it. It will be easy and comfortable for kids to carry, even when full of water and sand. The lid is a flexible silicone material and the lid is attached, so it will not get lost. The lid seals nicely on the bowl. And the air holes on the lid are in the shape of a cute starfish! I cannot wait to add this to our sand toy collection and have it on the beach this summer! I think it may also go camping with us, where our granddaughter can use it to collect bugs and other critters! It would be a great gift for any kid that loves the outdoors!

This was technically for my niece to play with when she came over... we just bought a house with a huge pond a couple months ago. But a few days after it got here I found a baby frog I wanted to show my fiance. He hadn't gotten home from work yet though... so Auntie opened the gift and plopped the frog inside. haha.I found this is thing to be AWESOME. its SUCH HIGH QUALITY! Oh my gosh. I am SO IMPRESSED by it.

When we shore fish in the Gulf, we always dig up sand fleas (mole crabs) to use for bait. This bucket made it easy to keep them cool and wet while still contained.

Purchased in preparation for upcoming Summer beach days. Intended for my 18 month old granddaughter to temporarily house some beach critters we catch at the bay .. crabs, small fish etc. and observe.. Much easier to see than a standard opaque bucket. Has a foam comfort handle and perforated top… to keep small fish from jumping out and to allow refresh/replacement of water without letting the critters escape. Fun item I expect to use throughout the Summer during our beach visits.

This is a great toy to take to the beach if you have a kid that love collecting little animals.It displays the animals much more nicely than the typical beach bucket. It’s really very much like an aquarium to view them.Of course it would be as fun at the lake.It definitely shouldn’t be used for any permanent aquatic animals, just for temporary fun.It’s made of plastic so it will get scratched up quickly.

Gets the job done, easy to carry, love the built. It’s very secure. Just amazing

This arrived this morning and my kids have not stopped playing with it. We don't live near a beach, but we do live near a pond and several streams. Additionally, my first grader is studying habitats right now, so she's been creating one habitat after another and running home to show us. I'm thrilled to take this to the beach with us this Summer.
