The media could not be loaded. I think I have read nearly every review for Fly Grubs. My ladies deserve a treat everyday as a thank you for the beautiful and best tasting eggs they give us. What you give your chickens is what you get back from them. I’m have been giving my chickens fly grubs daily for 4 years of another brand but supply issues have made them unpredictable. My hunt began and I decided on these. YAY- great decision! These are equal to, if not better than the brand I have been using. I think I will cancel my “Subscribe and Save” for the old brand and switch it to these. I hope that these do not have supply issues.Pros- The ladies took right to them. The grubs are intact. There are very little broken pieces and grub dust. The packaging is in a sturdy box and hefty ziplock bag. The ziplock bag will last the duration of all 10lbs. The grubs are perfectly golden brown, NO BURNT critters.Cons-They are made in China. But finding these made in The US is nearly impossible. There was a VERY SMALL SMALL SMALL amount of debris, like 3 pieces in the box. This is not a big deal for us, because we hand feed these to the ladies.If anything change I will up date this review. How everything if there are no up dates things stand as perfect!👍

Great treats to add some extra protein to your chicken's diet. My girls LOVE these! Need them back in their coop? Just shake a container of these and they come running!

The worms make my hens very happy to eat them and very excited when they know they are about to get them. Their feathers have a glow to them and they look so fluffy I can't help but pick them fluffy hen's up and pet them and hug them. Great pets.

The first thing you'll likely notice is the smell. Whew .... the fishy low tide odor is a bit overwhelming. Definitely want to store these in a tightly sealed container. Second thing to get my attention was just how many a 5 pound box holds. Been feeding the birds for like a week & I've hardly made a dent.Put them out dry at first & had no takers. Having bought meal worms in the past, I knew to offer them after soaking. That seems to have done the trick. The Eastern Bluebirds, Tufted Titmouse & even the Robins have come in for a snack. Worth it to see the birds so I can deal with the smell.NOTE: Box does have (in small print) a shellfish allergy warning on it.

I can only say the chickens are very excited when we show up to the coop with a scoop in hand.
