Acer USB Hub 3.0, Ultra Slim USB Adapter 4 Ports Splitter with Powered USBC

Excellent. I am really happy with it after trying it today. Cable length I chose was the right choice for me. It hardly takes up room on my desk and I can easily ignore it's there.I am using 3 of the 4 usb ports which I have plugged into my laptop. I plan to probably have an external keyboard later. So if I do, I can either plug it in the one I have left, or directly on my laptop. I think this was worth the money. And I hope this lasts a long time.

It also feels solid in use and like it should hold up well over time, which gives a bit of confidence for everyday use.Visually, it’s simple and understated, with a clean design that doesn’t stand out on the desk and fits in nicely with the rest of my setup. The 60cm cable also gives a bit of flexibility for positioning.Overall, it does exactly what I need and feels reliable in both performance and build quality. I’m happy with it.

Needed a USB splitter to power multiple lego lights on a unitThis one fitted the bill as it wasa) enough portsb) long enough to reach the top from the wall socketc) slim enough to be attached behind the unit with double sided tape without moving the unit further from the wall

Honestly, what did I do without one? So many modern laptops don't come with enough USB ports or do away with one in favour of a USB-C which isn't as useful to me. This solves that really easily. Connection is super reliable and it's not caused any lag. It's become an every day essential for me!

First impressions seem good and all 4 USB 3.0 ports work well and it is fine for my needs but..........I was disappointed with the USB-C Port because the headline description sounds as though it gives you a powered USB-C out port, which would have been useful. Unfortunately it doesn't, that USB-C port is purely to enable you to add more power to the adaptor if you have a high number of power draining things plugged into the USB 3.0 ports.On a second look at the listing it does bury that fact somewhere in the small print but the product headline description of "acer USB Hub 3.0, Ultra Slim USB Adapter 4 Ports, Multiport Splitter with Powered Type-C, Extender for PC,......." is very misleading.I'm happy for my needs at this price but if I had paid more or really relied on getting an extra USB-C port I would have been very disappointed.One other point, it is lightweight and slides about a bit if your mouse wires etc are fairly stiff. I got over this by taping the power lead and the unit to the top of my desk and for me it is fine. It would be a nuisance if I had wanted to use it more as a portable add on to take away with the laptop. A small sucker pad on the bottom may be useful.

This ACER USB hub comes inside a cardboard box; inside the box, you'll find this product - the product is inside of a plastic sleeve to make sure it doesn't get scratched or dirty during transit.The product is of decent quality; it looks like it was made by a third party on behalf of ACER, as the quality is usually a bit better on ACER products.This product is not powered, meaning it's limited to the output of what you plug this product into - this is not an issue for me as I used this product to use multiple USBs at once on my laptop as it has a limited port amount - in the case I'm using it, it works perfectly well.The slots are slightly tight, but this is quite good as it makes sure the USBs you use do not and will not fall out.I recommend this product; it is a good, reasonably priced product.
