These plates are really pretty. Great for serving up desert to guests. I just wish they were a little sturdier. Cake on them is fine and lightweight deserts but a piece of pie and I'm worried if it isn't centered the plate will bend.

These cake plates and forks are perfect for family birthday parties. We have five small boys in the family and my sister in law who usually hosts, goes through lots op plates. These blue plates are perfect for boys and she was really happy when I gave her the pack of plates and forks. We always run out of forks. The plates are good quality, not too flimsy and so are the gold forks. These were a really good deal too.

Update: Update: The supplier contacted me upon reading this review and offered to make anything right that was not right originally. I appreciated the offer very much and believe this to be a good supplier making the effort to keep customers happy. They replaced the order completely. It was obvious upon receiving the new order that the original WAS damaged in shipping and was not delivered in the original packaging. These plates and forks are delightful and I have upgraded to 5 stars.Original Post:These plates are great when the occasion calls for something a little "nicer." The size is just right for desert, snacks and hors d'oeuvres; a little small for a full meal. I cannot rate the included forks and would have rated higher overall but there were no forks included in our order. I don't know exactly how the plates and forks are supposed to be packed. I am also not sure the order was received in the original packaging as it was a bit disheveled, but all we got are plates. If a problem of the supplier, I hope it gets corrected. Otherwise, I guess we all understand goods are occasionally damaged in shipping.

These forks are long and sturdy. The plates are ordinary, but since it is a small size for dessert, it should be all right. Very pretty plates.

This is an attractive set with a versatile design that could be used for a lot of different occasions. The fork is a little large larger than some other plastic ones I buy, which makes it feel a little classier for adults to use (for a throw-away fork). The small plates are very thin cardboard though, and don't bear the weight of our snacks very well. Even a smaller-than-usual slice of pie was too much weight for this little plate -- and we often use this style of plate for heavier things like chicken wings and dips too. If I had seen how lightweight the plates are in the store, I wouldn't have bought these. (I know everyone could use two or three plates together at a time, I just usually try to buy ones that are stronger so they go further)

This review is for a set of 50 white and gold paper party plates with 50 matching gold plastic forks. The plates and forks come packaged separately in their own plastic wrap. No issues upon initial inspection. The plates are standard 7 inch round. Not too thick, not too thin. They'll stand up to one time use, just don't over fill them with food and you'll be fine. The forks are full sized and appear to be fine as well. They're completely plastic, so treat them as such. Don't torque them too much and they won't snap like any other plastic utensil. Good set if you need some for a party. Decent price.
