Overall Review: NOTE: I use this for airsoft ONLY. My opinions do NOT translate to real firearms in any way. This unit is quite nice, with lots of great, intuitive features. I'm a big fan of the overall styling, and the construction feels solid and holds up well so far. This is mounted to my sidearm currently, and gets a fair amount of beating, whether attached to the holster and running and slamming into cover, or while being used on the pistol itself. It holds zero well, and the auto on/off feature works great as well. It's not overly sensitive, but as far as I've seen, simply drawing the pistol is enough to active it. The glass is clear as a bell, with no issues or problems at all, which is always a relief. The included mounting options were as advertised, easy to use, and the included instructions and tools were great as well. It comes with a little key for adjusting the elevation and windage, which for some reason didn't hold up very well, but honestly I didn't expect to use that at all, so I can't really take any points for that. If you absolutely didn't have anything else you could use it, though, if you had to. The dot is quite clear, and stands out well in the daylight without any issues, which makes lining up shots nice and easy in any condition. Overall I really like the unit, and would definitely use it elsewhere. Optic is decent for a BB gun. I actually really like it for an affordable optic for a toy. For what it is, it's decent. I'd actually give it 3-4 stars knowing it's not a high end item. You get what you pay for. BUT It came missing screws and I've now e-mailed the manufacturer twice and gotten no response and when calling their phone number they give for "customer service" it rings and rings, and even if you get put on hold by the automated system, you eventually get hung up on. Glad I can just find screws on my own because the manufacturer was no help whatsoever after weeks of trying. Edit: They offered me a full refund which I happily took since I had to go hunt for screws on my own over the course of 4 hardware stores to find what I needed. Again, it's a decent "toy" of an optic that works great on a BB gun. So, they made it right. I'll take it.

Seems to be a good value for the price. Works exactly as described. The adjustment knobs are a little loose.

TL;DR: -The actual electronic component seems solid. -Minor fit and finish issues. -Included MOS adapter plate is worthless. The actual dot itself seems solid. It's a little shabbier as far as fit and finish goes, but it is what it is for a 50 dollar sight. Mostly the glue is slightly visible around the lens and buttons, but does not affect performance while actually looking through it from the right end. Not sure how well it holds up under use, because I couldn't get it mounted correctly. I was attempting to mount it to the included Glock MOS adapter plate. The manual said 15 in-lbs of torque. I double checked the manual and the torque wrench I was using. I set the torque wrench for 10 in-lbs (figuring I could walk it in tighter later if it wouldn't hold zero), and promptly stripped both screw holes out of the plate. Guess I'll have to find another plate somewhere.

It’s a nice green dot, sturdy, very clean look. Only issue I had was none of the screw that came with it actually fit my footprint so I just used my own and it fit. Actually a perfect fit without a plate on my retay rxp22. Needed something cheap and reliable for a cheap suppressed pistol to play around with but truthfully everything is just like my Holosun green dot.

The CVLIFE WolfCloak Motion Awake 2MOA Red/Green optic has been a great addition to my setup. The motion-activated “awake” feature works exactly as advertised, turning on instantly when movement is detected and conserving battery life when not in use. The 2MOA dot is crisp, clear, and easy to acquire, and having both red and green options is a big plus for different lighting conditions. Brightness adjustments are simple, and the optic performs well in both indoor and outdoor environments. Build quality feels solid and durable, especially considering the price point. Fit great on my RXM and its ability to hold zero even after strenuous use is amazing. Really pleased with my purchase and looking forward to buy more CVLIFE products!!

Functions, until you need it to function. I will say that the glass “was” clear. The dot was crisp and clean. Price obviously wasn’t bad. Easy to use. The shake-awake function was great. This was on my EDC G19, the battery life has lasted since December 2025, which is when I purchased it. Super easy to mount and the zero retention has held since mounting. The size is great and the brightness selection is easy to navigate. That’s where it stops. I only put around 1k rounds through my G19 with this optic on. Was out yesterday training and the GLASS POPPED OUT. I know it’s a “budget” optic, so I had scheduled to do a full review after 6 months to give an honest opinion. Hate when I read reviews of people who get it right away and then “review” it. There was no ACTUAL USE. I will be contacting customer service to see what can be done to remedy the issue. That is just as important as a quality product. This could have happened to an AIMPOINT SUREFIRE EOTECH, and I’d still be curious about customer service. I shall update after reaching out. Like I said REAL WORLD REVIEWS ONLY.

UPDATED REVIEW: absolutely amazing. Love the shake awake, love the brightness and it just looks amazing. The zero stayed perfect through over 300 rounds and never gave any sign of stopping. The customer service was far above and beyond what I expected. They replaced my malfunctioning model and had me range ready in 72hrs Original review: want to give this a great review but after 3 rounds, the dot was no longer in the window. No amount of adjusting the screws brought it back into place. The look, size and fit of the red dot made me very excited, but I was quickly disappointed.

So far great little sight. I took the picatinny adapter off and mounted it directly to the built in multi mount on new Carbon Fiber 10/22 takedown backpack rifle. It has a mount located right on the barrel so sight is not effected when separating barrel from receiver. Sight has auto off and shake awake feature (which can be turned off if desired). Came with a nice rubber cover and three batteries! One in the unit and 2 in the box.

Looks and feels well made. I mounted it on my 10/22 and found out that apparently I have astigmatism now? It's my first time using a red dot and I thought I'd like it but the reticle is just blurry for me. I took a photo through it with my phone and it looked nice and crisp. I can't speak to accuracy but it seems solid. I'd keep it if my eyes didn't suck now.

What a awesome little red dot, bought for my wife’s 22lr installed it and took it to the range and had it zeroed at 25 yards within 10 shots

I absolutely love this reddot. I have it on my ruger 10/22 and after 300 shots it is still holding zero perfectly.

Surprisingly durable, survived a 3 foot launch after my 3d printed airsoft pistol mount snapped and launched it into the ground. it has a nice feel, and the recital is very bright and great for sunny days.
