My Rugby ABC Book

Cute book but geared toward the younger set. Was a bit boring for my child who was six at the time ...

I got this for my newphew hes only 3 weeks old so it was more for my brother-in-law haha. He plays rugby and loved this! Thought it was very well written. I myself dont know much about rugby but felt it was very understandable. Cant wait for my newphew to really be able to enjoy it!

My grandchildren are playing rugby now and I want to learn more about it. This is a good introduction to the basics.

Fun and engaging, clever and lyrical. My son enjoyed reading it to me himself and learning what the different letters stand for in the game of rugby. He wanted a copy to read to his little cousin because he said it's a great ABC book even if you don't know about rugby but it's also s great introduction to the game! The illustrations are equally engaging.

This book was perfect for a rugby family! So good that after seeing it a friend bought it for her rugby family too. It had the alphabet plus history of the words at the end. I learned something from an ABC book!

A little gem of a book. I bought this for my 2.5 year old son who's just starting to enjoy identifying letters. The illustrations remind me of books from my parents' generation, with classic old-school hand illustrated pictures. The simple prose demonstrates a joy for the English language and, of course, rugby. Only downside is the relatively high price for a softback. Nonetheless highly recommended for anyone who has a love for rugby and/or has a child at the early stages of letter identification and reading.
