Shockingly bright for how cheap they are

This is a great addition to my keychain for when I hunt for uranium glass. Don’t have to worry about not having a black light!

To turn on the light, you pinch the top and bottom between your thumb and finger…when you release, the light goes off…great for a quick check to see if something is fluorescent.However, the manufacturer placed a tiny slide switch on the light that does not have to be fully slid to the ON position in order to activate the light. I guess it’s function is intended to allow the user to latch it on and off. But the light just randomly comes ON because the switch is a certifiable POS.Also, in order to move the tiny switch such that it ‘clicks’ into the ON or OFF position requires a greater force than the substance of my thumbnail can provide without chipping.All six of the keychain lights did this. I had given them out to friends so that they could explore UV things around their houses…all said that the lights just randomly came on, the slide switches were very difficult to manipulate and the batteries died quickly.But hey, they are cheap junk that functioned like a cheap pieces of junk function.Anyway, DarkBeam should be happy…I bought everyone a UV penlight to replace these junky purple party favors.

These were just way too dim to be of any use. I have had this type before and they were bright lights, these are a pale purple and like I said, very dim.

The light emitted from this tiny Flashlight is good, but I did not realize it was going to be tinted.The purple/blue instead of a clear white bright light.
