How to walk away !!! A beautiful story of love and survival.
Title : How to walk Away Author : Katherine Center Available as Hardcover Rs 1558 Kindle Rs 227.50 Paperback Rs 724 Audio CD Rs 3,135. Story : Margaret is a hardworking girl who has always lived her life by the rules her mother has set for her. On the most anticipated evenings of her life, she lands up in the most unusual place, or you may say the worst circumstances. How she goes through the ups and downs her situation lands her in and how her crazy family supports her through makes this a refreshing read. Review : If an author is able to hook me with her beginning, I am the sort of reader who won't put the book down till I reach the end. The author very beautiful narrates Margaret's fear of aeroplanes and just with that one incident puts the role of Katie, her sister in her life. The story basically revolves around Margaret's accident, how she's left paraplegic and how she struggles despite all odds and how her family supports her, each in their own way. How that one incident breaks and then unites them once again? The author has beautifully depicted the struggle of Margaret. Through her, she brings out the pain and feelings of a person who loses everything and is yet alive. All others come and go, give their free advices, but finally the one who goes through the pain, knows what pinches. Again, love and luck come always when it is most unexpected. This reminds us that whatever the situation be we should keep going. My Rating :⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Must read !!!

Heartbreakingly real!
5 stars for this beautiful story of life and hope❤️❤️❤️Katherine Center is exceptional, there’s no doubt reading her books are gonna make you cry with equal parts joy and equal parts grief and she’s gonna wring out every emotion that you probably have inside your body, mind, and whatever. She’s JUST that good. How To Walk Away is the journey of Margaret whose life and dreams are shattered following a plane crash. Now, what would you do, if your lifelong fear materializes in ways worse than you can ever imagine? All it takes is one moment when everything that you had planned goes for a toss and there’s nothing you can do but stare at life with determination.Margaret teaches us that, to never give up, EVER! She’s never given a clear diagnosis by any doctor, as a matter of fact, her conditions are kind of thrown at her by thoughtless acts. I don’t think it works that way in a hospital. The story is devastating, but not depressive. And that is why I keep saying Katherine Center is exceptional. The first part of the story is inside a hospital but the narrative is laced with subtle humor and witty sarcastic dialogues that in spite of the situation Margaret is in, we feel sympathy for her plight but never pity, and honestly, I was smiling with every other dialogue banter between the sisters. Kit was such a refreshing character, the light and energy she brought to the story were superb. The mother is of course the dominating force but I loved how the father is always the pillar in the background and the truth he has to face up to and learn to forgive.Chip’s portrayal of a lover who is unable to bear the guilt of destroying his fiance’s life was hauntingly real and the romance between Ian and Margret was beautiful. Well, it is clear that I simply loved everything about this story, it is fairly obvious that the author has done a lot of medical research for this novel which is appreciative beyond words.“When you don’t know what to do for yourself, do something for someone else."Highly recommended to all my friends!

I'd recommend this book not only to all the contemporary fiction readers but to anyone and everyone who wants to read a really,
How To Walk Away by Katherine Center is a beautiful book about loss, love, courage and hope that has a lot to offer to its readers apart from an exceptional story.I am so glad that I read this book! It is a really, really good book and has taught me a lot of things about forgiveness – which definitely doesn't come easy, loss – which does hurt a lot, and hope – which, even though difficult to hold onto, can turn around one's life. This book had a delightful mixture of a well thought-out storyline, a string of not only believable and realistic but also very relatable characters, very engaging yet simple writing with an exceptional sense of humour and an excellent ending. What I really loved about this book was that the author didn't sugarcoat things, she put things forward the way they are in real life, but she did it so without being overdramatic. I generally shy away from reading books with illness/medical situations because most of the authors present the pain in such horrific (sometimes honest, sometimes not) details and the overall experiences, more often than not, leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth. That said, if done right, these books are nothing short of magic because they have a lot of lessons and takeaways along with a good story (which, as a reader, is always the main thing for me.) For example, I loved John Green's The Fault In Our Stars, but I didn't really like Nicola Yoon's Everything, Everything.I'd recommend this book not only to all the contemporary fiction readers but to anyone and everyone who wants to read a really, really good book.

A great read that offers hope when life turns tragic and not the way we planned. A read that is very encouraging.

An unexpected story
This is the first book I've read by Katherine Center and it definitely won't be the last one.I like how the story emphasizes on unexpected feelings and involvements. I like how negative feelings are described and put into perspective.

An extremely satisfying read
I highly recommend this book. It’s a great pick-me-up, and full of wit and sage advice. Congratulations to the author—I can’t wait to see this book transformed into a script for the big screen.

Lovely writing, fabulous story
How to Walk Away took me by surprise. A wonderful surprise, filled with tears and laughs, heartache and chuckles. Margaret had her life planned for the next 50 years – the perfect guy and job, and she was ticking off all the boxes that society tells you to if you want a “successful life”. Until life itself decides to awake her, in the worst possible way.An accident throws away what Margaret thought she knew about what she wanted and who she was. Painful, poignant but full of hope, How to Walk Away is a stunning and emotional testimony of how find happiness in places you never thought you’d find yourself in. With her own issues, a crazy family (aren’t they all??) and a sexy but taciturn Scottish physiotherapist, Margaret finds her true self, and disovers new horizons. This book moved me in ways I wasn’t expecting, and I cannot recommend it enough. No sugar-coating here, but a true and raw testimony of the shock, the pain, and the little moments of life that lift you up despite everything. This novel is inspiring, fun (yep!), moving, and full of life.Katherine Center’s writing is down-to-earth, authentic just like her characters, and beautifully hopeful.
