They work!
I ordered 5 and split 4 tons of 2 man granite and they’re still in pretty good shape.Rubber bands are still holding, but they might break with further use.

These worked GREAT
I saw these used on Ask This Old House and thought I would give a try! After drilling a set of holes about 4-6" apart, we were able to split a rock into 8-10 pieces, each of them 50-75 lb!! This was one big rock and these really worked as advertised.

They work
Was able to break up a huge rock with a drill, hammer, and these. No damage to them after breaking it up 4 times.

fragile bands, a tad undersized
The metal parts are ultimately what counts, and they are good, but the rubber bands are too thin and they will break after minimal provocation. These are good and they get the job done but you can find better.

Great in breaking up exposed granite!
We had some exposed granite rock we wanted to level out before adding turf. A bobcat with a big drill bit couldn’t break through it. Used a handheld rotary drill to drill holes and then these feather and wedges. Got some good chunks out and it did the job! One rubber part broke in the process. Next time I’d buy more than 5.

Worked like a charm
These wedges are very small but did a great job on rocks that were about 1 to 2 feet diameter. Broke in straight lines using a small claw hammer

Good
I haven't had a chance to use them yet but the only downside is the rubber o rings that holds them together
