What size drill bit do I need and how deep do I need to drill?

I use a 5/8” drill bit that is 6” long. I drill - minimum of 4” . If you don’t drill deep enough and bottom out the tool, you’re done

Do these use 313 o rings?

I am not an o-ring guy, so I don’t know about the 313. Before I ever started using mine , I took some of the o-ring provided and matched them up with new ones at the store and bought extra’s. I haven’t broken to many, but I do have spares

I have not used this set yet, but the old set of 5/8” feather and wedges that I have , I use a 5/8” bit. Seems to work fine
