It's surprising how something as simple as a pen can actually improve the quality of your day to day life. These are easily my favorite pens at the moment, and for good reason: they provide the kind of rewarding feedback you want when writing, and they are properly erasable. They make a pleasing scratch-scratch as you write, as if they were some sort of haptic feedback device, and ink left behind is sharp and exact. That bit about being erasable is more impressive than it sounds actually; they erase completely and easily. in fact, I wish I'd had these back in the dark ages, before word processors and computers. Certainly my high school and college essays would've been a bit less messy and probably a bit more eloquent. But alas, these days about all I use them for is writing out checks, scribbling lists, and filling out paperwork. Not exciting stuff, but definitely a better experience when using these pens.All of that said, if there is one complaint to cast upon these fine scribbular utensils, it's their higher-than-might-seem-reasonable prices. And that applies no matter what seller from whom you might purchase them. The good news is that you can purchase refills at a more reasonable price, which makes it less of a deal breaker.

These write nicely and there's no cap to lose or interfere with the eraser (as there is on the regular FriXion pens). The clip is what's use to extend or retract the pen, which took me a second to figure out. There's a cute little window which shows yellow-green when the pen is extended, and reverts to black when it's retracted.Flow-wise, they aren't the smoothest or darkest pen ever, but I find them very comfortable, and the erasability is useful for me, as I like to make changes and clarify things in my notes, and I digitize whatever I want to keep for a long period of time. They are not appropriate for archival, legal, financial, or other appropriate documents because of the erasability.Another reviewer noted that they came in a little plastic bag. Not sure if it was the original packaging, but many Japanese stationery items come in small plastic bags, not attached to cards as we're accustomed to in our big box office supply stores.

I had purchased a .4mm Pilot Frixon before and unlike some other .4mm pens I have the line was just too light and too scratchy. However, I loved the ability to erase and was impressed how well it worked so I decided I'd buy the .7mm size. I got the line weight I wanted and I still have good erasability. I'm generally happy with this pen but I have one small, and kind of odd, complaint. They rattle. When you move them around you are definitely going to hear the spring and mechanism move around in the pen every time you pick one up, put it down, or move it around much. It makes them seem cheap even though they're great pens in other ways (erasability, cushioned grip, nice barrel size).Just don't buy them if you expect them to be silent.

These run out of ink quickly, but are some amazing pens. Eraser never depletes as it is just used to create heat, I assume, instead of the traditional rubber erasers found on pencils that shed as you use them. I am used to the Pilot G2 (07) pens and one thing I noticed with the Frixions is that they smear a little bit if touched within the first few seconds of writing, but usually by the time I finish writing across a full line on a page and move on to the next the ink has dried, so this is just a minor issue. I got my first one for free with a notebook purchase which I cannot use my usual G2 pens on, but am happy with the quality of these overall. Would recommend!

My girlfriend got these from her sister after a trip to Japan one year. We used them sparingly though we both really enjoyed using them. I was randomly window shopping on Amazon one day and found them here!They are excellent, write with a smooth gel-like motion and do erase well also.The only issue is that these pens run out quick. If you are searching for cartridges that have longevity, then these are not it.

Gave these to my stationary loving high school age daughter for Christmas. She carries a very extensive pencil case every day. She was using her current favorite, multi colored glitter pens to take notes. Not any more. She LOVES these pens. She uses them for everything. She uses them for all her homework including math.Her only complaints: 1) They are more of a grey or light black ink. She wishes they were a normal darker black ink. 2) Some of the pens ran out of ink a bit too quickly.

I love the Pens. They write great. The eraser works perfectly. I have very complaints that i cannot work around. The ink doesn't last very long. I am a college student and I need to replace ink about once every 2 weeks. Not terrible since I use it a lot, but wish it was better. Also if you write on one side of the page then write on the other, be careful if you erase, it might also erase what is on the other side of the page in that area. I don't tend to write on both sides of my papers, but if you do, this might be a deal breaker. All in all, love that pens will probably buy again.

They are gel-like pens that erase. They erase cleanly and completely. I did hear that the ink could fade if it gets too hot, but haven’t experimented with that.

I needed a replacement pen for my Rocketbook and this set offered both extra pens and extra refills.0.7mm is thick and won't last as long as 0.5mm points, but it writes smoothly and has more boldness to it, so it scans much easier.The clicky part doesn't feel super durable, but it works and is much better than capped pens.Overall, I will buy this again when I need to.

I'm really happy to see a gel pen with available refill cartridges. It feels like I am wasting less plastic this way. Plus the erasable factor means I no longer need to use plastic white-out cartridges which is even better. (This is my first time using an erasable gel pen. I'm still having a lot of fun with it!)I recommend the 0.7mm as it seems to write finer than other 0.7mm's I've used. Other pros/cons: the comfort grip on the pen itself is a nice touch. Cons: the retractable slide clicker for engaging the ink cartridge feels a bit cheap/insecurely attached and like it may be prone to breaking if not careful. Otherwise a solid pen so far.

I also purchased some generic erasable pens while I waited for these to arrive. Half the price... But I will need more time to assess whether they measure up to the Pilots. One thing I do appreciate is being able to reuse the pen itself... reducing waste. The Pilot retractable design is great for my purposes.

The product is good as they said. I can erase the writing easily and leaves no color at all. However, you can still tell what was writen by the trace of writing. So make sure to use less effort when usinv this product.

Do not work just buy frixion pensIf you scratch back and forth over and over there will be half as readable as frixion pens
